Our defense looks to be licking their chops
Although our offense will be struggling as well _________________

I bet we still don't force a turnover. _________________ Adopt-a-Ram: Brian Quick - 11 receptions, 156 yards, 2 TDs |

Cannot do worse than Skelton. Looked OK out there vs a tough Falcons D. I don't expect much, but I do expect a better offensive showing than that TNF game. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

Tell him to dink and dunk it and he'll be fine. _________________

Now a bad game from everyone, where we didnt have anything go right, and we are the worst team in the league, nothing works, Sam is terrible and the defense is crap...
Good to see the sky is falling again around here
This criticism of Sam is getting ridiculous right now. He is the new scapegoat for you guys when in reality he isnt playing that bad at all. You can see him frustrated on every drive. We had so many guys (other than Danny & Gibson) running wrong routes, the entire line looked like garbage, especially getting blow up in the LG & RT spots, and no one can decode the absurd play calling that was going on.
I just laugh at some of you, you cant pinpoint what is wrong so you just attack the most visible guy. |
He was getting frustrated because he was playing dreadfully and our WRs weren't getting open.
He was actually quite successful against the blitz vs. the Jets. Issue was that they were smart enough to realize this, adapt and drop into coverage where they were killing us because they blanketed our WRs and Bradford refused to take chances and continually just ate the ball. _________________

WILLIAMS RETURNS
Linebacker Jabara Williams, a seventh-round pick by the Rams in 2011, was signed to the practice squad Wednesday filling the vacancy created when tight end Harkey was promoted to the active roster. Williams was on the Rams’ roster for six games last season, appearing in two games, before being waived Oct. 26.

He has most of the leverage still in my opinion. Rams need him it seems, and if they can't agree long term the Rams will have to franchise, even with all the injuries than risk losing him.
If the Rams franchise tag him they will have a few months to workout a long term deal and reduce his cap hit for the next year. Unless the Rams don't have him in the future plans, which I don't believe is the case.

Crazy thought, can you guys believe that we'll likely end up facing 9 or 10 top 10 defenses by the end of the year? _________________

Six of those in divisional games. NFC West = Defense. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

In a somewhat random, somewhat interesting stat that has somewhat of a bearing on this game.
Arizona this season is 4-0 when scoring 20 or more points and is 0-6 when they score 19 or fewer. If they had scored exactly 20 points in every game this season they would be 5-5. If they upped their scoring in games they did not reach 20 to exactly 20 they would be 6-4.
If you go back to 2011 as well over their last 26 games Arizona is 10-5 in games they score 20+points. 9-0 over their last 16 games in which they score 20 or more points.
This 20 seems like a bit of a magic number for Arizona. It is not guarantee, but I suppose the more points you score the better chance you have to win. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's
