vs. San Francisco
@ Atlanta (thursday night game)
@ New York Giants
For a chance at the post season, I'm guessing we'll need to win atleast 2 of these games.
How do you foresee these next 3 games unraveling. _________________

The next 3 games are important, but all 6 are going to need to be vital to making the playoffs this year.
The current wildcard contenders are sitting at:
Dallas 5-5
Green Bay 7-3
*Chicago 7-2
Minnesota 6-4
Tampa Bay 6-4
New Orleans 5-5
*San Francisco 6-2-1
Seattle 6-4
*denotes currently leading their division but in a tight race.
So it looks like there might be several teams at 10-6 or better vying for the two wildcard spots so we need to go 5-1 down the stretch to have a chance and 6-0 to give ourselves a real good chance.
The remaining schedule is:
vs. San Francisco
@ Atlanta
@ New York Giants
vs Tampa Bay
@ Dallas Cowboys
vs Carolina Panthers
None of those games are going to be easy and the fact that we pretty much have to go through it unscathed is going to be hard, but if we do it, we might be the team that no one wants to face in the playoffs. _________________

This. If we make the playoffs, we will be the scariest team in the playoffs. _________________

I could honestly see us finishing out the season without a loss. This team is HOT and the defense is actually looking..................good?!?!?! _________________

Don't forget every team that we play has been looking a little shaky right now having close games that shouldn't even near as close as they were, if not losses even. _________________

The Saints have been in the playoffs since the Denver game... Everyone has mattered and will continue to matter until seasons end!

yea I can see us winning the tough games 49s, falcons, giants but those bucs man, they can bust some teams up. But the bucs stll have Atlanta twice so should Atanta beat them twice. And we beat Atl and Tb, we should be good in the playoffs.
I see us playing the seahawks, and the bears playing the 49s in the wildcard.

SF will be interesting. They are a little banged up, and also come to us after a short week(they play the Bears tonight).
So win/lose, hope that tonight is a war between SF and Chicago.
I worry due to us somewhat struggling against 3-4 D's.
I think Atlanta will be the toughest game. Short week (Thursday night) after a tough game. We'll need to be on our game. _________________

I think i'm the olny one that still see's this team ending with a 9-7 record.
I have them losing to the 49ers and one more time to one of our division opponents.
That is a more realistic outlook I see. I remember last time this team started 0-4 and pulled themselves out of a hole but fadded down the stretch, Sean Payton said he felt the entergy it took out of the team to rally out of the hole they dug early in the season cought up with them at the end.
The Saints are hot right now... but I just don't see them winning 10 this year.
How's this for a prediction: Saints fall 1 game short of playoffs to Seahawks who get in with their stolen win vs the Packers when Godell's replacement refs blew the call and the game.
Goodell wins in the end! _________________
