Agreed Frank. For some reason everyone always blames Ponder. This team has other problems such as WR, OG, LB, and DT that some people seem to forget about _________________

I'm not sure who but I'd never call any class awful. Always a hidden gem to find, you just have to uncover it.
I just want it declared as the day I switched "sides" in the pro/anti Ponder debate. |

I recorded the game as I was out of town...only got to see the first half since Fox decided to switch the game on us (which was an appalling decision, but what can I do) and while Ponder certainly didn't help matters, he wasn't the reason they lost. The defense was the main reason. Their inability to stop the Bears on 3rd down was atrocious. _________________

Only bright spot. Peppers made Mt Thug his whipping boy all last season.
This game was lulzy.
Ponder is our best short at QB with no one else competent on the roster.
Well I'm ready for free agency. _________________

3 and outs don't help either. Defense is just tired. They looked completely gassed in the 3ed quarter. _________________

We're missing Chris Cook and it shows. We'll probably find out Harrison Smith is concussed on Monday too, and wont be able to play against the Pack. _________________

I agree with you guys. This loss was not on Ponder. We have bigger fish to fry than trying to jump ship on the QB - especially when there aren't any prospects that are all that great in the upcoming draft anyway. _________________

We should have drafted a QB sooner. Jackson was a bust and a major reach. |

| There's no reason to draft a new QB this year. This class is fairly weak and questionable. Unless Geno falls down to us I would skip taking one, Let ponder take another crack at it. Next years class looks like it could be a lot better, and if Ponder cant get it done, we cut our losses and grab one in the 1st. At a good value of course. |

| If anything, the defense showed a lot more holes today. |

after we waste another year of Peterson's prime?
Ponder is terrible, we all realistically know right now he will never be a good NFL starter so why continue? |

I agree with [UMN] here, I'm going to quote John Kriesel via twitter about 20 minutes ago (John Kriesel was a member of the Minnesota Legislature and very supportive possibly key on getting the Vikings stadium passed, and he held up the "help" sign during the long days of discussion on the bill):
"I won't say that Ponder is the QB of the future, he hasn't earned it yet, but it's tough to evaluate him with such a lack of talent at WR. Because the Vikings have used so many aging, short-term fix's at QB, I think it would be irresponsible to pull the cord on Ponder this soon."

I agree with him. _________________ Gnat's Movie Reviews
