Also I'm not saying this is all Lions fans just the ones I encountered. I know I'm ranting but this isn't intended for all Lions fans. * ends rant*

All in all I'm glad I got out of there safe without having to crack anyones head open. I hope everybody had and is having a great Thanksgiving!

That game would have to be one of the best games Ive ever watched and its top 5 for best Texans game ever. It was great watching it in person and seeing all these lions fans rip their hearts out. Cool

Really? I never though of Lions fans as ones to start fights and crap like that. It doesnt usually happen. Did these fights start before or after the Forsett call?

Get him to fling poo more accurately and make better decisions when flinging it?

Great win for the boys. Second week in a row that we won when not playing a perfect game. These games would be losses in most years but it says something that we are able to fight back and give ourselves a chance to win.

I am also a bit tired about the uproar over the Forsett TD. I get that jt is a dumb rule that caused that TD to be scored, but its not like it is the first time that a blown call resulted in a TD. The Lions were still winning after it. To blame the loss on that play alone is pretty insulting.

Glad we have a bit of a break. Obviously the team needs it and so does my heart....

I LOVE THESE GAMES.

These games are so exciting, weve had enough blowouts this year Laughing

These games remind me of the games back in 09 and 10 when we would get in shootouts and get so close and lose. Now we win.

I hope the Pats game is another shootout and I think it will be.

Also Kareem Jackson is awesome.

Proud supporter since day 1 Cool I remember a co-worker wanting him cut his sophomore season.

Wades personnel decisions trouble me. Alan Ball starting and the failure to replace him untill the second half was costly. I hope he doesn't have much of a say on what players he gets in the draft.

Patriots now CLEARLY the AFC's best team. Now a plus 24 in turnovers! That's 12 better than next team! That's the sign of a Super Bowl roll.

My Thoughts...

I not only question Ball playing on Johnson. I question why he is even on this team?! You can't tell me of all the defensive backs that was cut at the end of training camp, and of all the practice squads that are available, or even our own team.....Ball is our best option??? Gimme a break....

It was a joy to watch both Johnson's play yesterday. Both are at the top of their positions, and, homerism aside, it's a toss up as to who is #1. What a clinic by both.

On Forsett's TD, I can understand, as an official, why you would let play continue, because if you did make a call the other way and blow the whistle, you just robbed a man of a TD. So let it play out and review. And then there is the stupid rule about throwing the flag on a reviewable play. It's stupid, but it is the rules, and Schwartz blew it. However, all he did was blow a chance to review it. Even if the had, and Forsett was down by contact at the 26-27 yd line, that does not mean we would not have continued the drive and scored anyway. I'm not saying we would have, but you can't say we wouldn't have either. I just hate that in some way people look at that call/non call as the focal point. Reality is, both teams had chances to win all through the game.

Suh is a dynamic player, and awesome to watch....just maybe not against the Texans?! But his insistance to do just a little more, a push, a shove, a kick, etc. is a disgrace to him. There is no reason for him to do that, and especially with the limelight of being a dirty player, resting squarely on him. He needs to get a handle on it, or the NFL help him further to get "it".

If the Lions played all of their games as tough as they did us, they should be leading their division. And if not this year....next!

[inappropriate/removed] Detroit and their [inappropriate/removed] [inappropriate/removed] fans. I saw two fights break out in the stands between Texans and Lions fans and they were both started by lions fans. Of course they were all drunken past their minds like idiots. There was this one hillbilly [inappropriate/removed] sitting by us and the whole game he was talking [inappropriate/removed]. I ignored him sometimes so he wouldn't try no dumb [inappropriate/removed] and it wasn't worth getting kicked out for doin some dumb [inappropriate/removed] with him so I pretty much kept it cool but talked [inappropriate/removed] back occasionally. After the game I walked out the stadium and was walking down the street and I saw this dude walking fast towards me, I didn't think nothing of it but when he walked past me he squared his shoulders up and bumped me. I was like wtf hell naw this [racial slur removed] think ima punk or sumn I turned around and shoved him to the ground, he got up and tried to charge me up but before anything else happened some police officer came over and broke everything up. He had to escort me back to my hotel.

Honestly that experience seems pretty out of the norm. Most Detroit fans get along really well with opposing fan bases. Sure, you have the regular stuff back and fourth if the fans are vocal and up for it, but I haven't seen anything extreme like that when I go to games. I've been to two this year, and security is usually pretty quick to put out the flames. I saw one instance where there was almost a fight, but it was between two stupid Lions fans.

But honestly, I've been to a ton of Tigers games and a two Lions games this year and usually the fan bases get along really well. I'm really sorry that you had a negative experience when you were in town, but I think you just unfortunately ran into some drunk people who gave Lions fans a bad name. I hope you get a chance to come back to town sometime and you have a better experience.

If you do come back to town shoot me a PM. I can tell you a few good places to stop and eat if you're around for a day or two. It would be worth giving it another try if you're into baseball or something in the future.

I was also wondering (I didn't read much of the GDT)... what is everyone's opinion on the Suh "Kick" or whatever you want to call it? Do you think it was intentional? I'm honestly not sure if it was or if it wasn't. His reputation certainly doesn't help his case, and he's weird with the media and I thought not talking kind of made him look bad. But, I'd like to hear what you guys had to say on the issue. Please don't freak out on me about it.. I'm just looking for an honest opinion.

Also...

Congrats on the win, guys! It was a really interesting game to watch, and hopefully you all enjoyed it during your Thanksgiving meal as much as I did.

We bust Kubs chops a lot but that play call for the bootleg in over time was a fantastic call that gave us a shot at making a 30 yard fg opposed to a 50 yarder.

Btw.... Cut Shayne Graham!

Yup and I agree CUT HIM, too bad our fellow U of M student didn't take up kicking field goals like I suggested a while back, maybe he could have been our kicker, fml

First time I saw It I thought it was on purpose, but when they showed the replay I thought it wasn't intentional. I think he won't get suspended, but given his track record I think the NFL board will suspend him a game.
