Honestly, IMO if Tebow was released he'd have a hard time finding another team. At least one that would let him see the field. Then people would be like "oh pick up Tebow the coaches are idiots if they don't pick up Tebow" if they had a QB dilemma. _________________

As much as I hate to say this, it's true...
Now instead of him being the talk of ONE team, ANY team with a QB dilemma you'd hear ESPN clamoring for them to sign Tebow off the streets. _________________

TEBOW IS NOT THE ANSWER.
The Jets do not have a defense that can suddenly dominate like the Broncos of last year and THAT more than anything is why they started winning.
End of story. |
I don't think Tebow could take over and improve this team, but that's not because of the defense. It's because Tebow isn't good and neither are our RBs (although Bilal Powell was solid today). _________________

I'd could see a team like the Packers, Patriots, or Saints picking him up. Those teams wouldn't have to worry about a QB controversy and Tebow could be brought in like once a game for a trick play. _________________

1. Cutting Sanchez would cost money.
2. Barkley is just another Matt Leinart and Wilson isn't that special either. _________________

Belichick and McCarthy don't really use trick plays and I doubt they'd want the media attention that comes with him. I don't know about the Saints because they'll probably have a new coach next year but again I don't think they need trick plays to help the offense. _________________

Not really. Even if he's not the starter, it's not worth $4.3MM to cut him. _________________

Tebow hasnt even gotten a chance to succeed. Name me any other quarterback that has been put in the situation he's been put it, and has been given so little of a chance to prove himself.
There isn't any. _________________

You bench Sanchez, give Tebow a chance to start, and finally put it to rest whether he can help the team or not. He fails, get rid of both of them in the offseason. He succeeds well enough, give him a shot or keep him as a normal backup QB. _________________

My point is that it was the Broncos defense not Tebow that turned around their season. _________________ "I have eaten burritos bigger than you." J.J. Watt to Ray Rice. |
