You guys are a QB and a few OLineman away from being a very good team. Say Barkley, and some vet starters on the line. You have the receivers and tight end and RBs.

Yet our receivers dropped 5-6 passes on Sunday and that includes multiple drops by Larry Fitzgerald. Our TE had a 10 yard OPI penalty that bought back a first down and our RB outside of two runs was just as likely to lose yards as he was to gain them, often turning 2-3 yard gains in 1-2 yard losses.
We do need some upgrades at QB and on the OL, but we need the players around them to execute too.

I think those players will execute - they need to get in a rhythm. Sure wish we had Todd Haley as the OC yelling at them in practice though.
I also agree we're not far off when you just look at the number of positions we need to upgrade. Only problem is QB isn't easy to upgrade - we should be able to address the O-Line in the off-season though, and cross our fingers that Kolb or Lindley develops behind better protection. I wouldn't completely rule out John Skelton either - but his odds of developing into a franchise QB look extremely low at this point. |

It appears as though I was right, the John Skelton experience really is over.
We gave him a shot, he didn't make the most of it. Time to move on.

I pray Kevin Kolb shows us something in the last few weeks of the season so our QB situation and lack of elite QB in the draft to fix it doesn't disgust me all off season. |

For the sake of this team I hope Lindley looks good this week. He has this week and maybe next week as well to show what he can do. Kolb returned to practice in a limited capacity, but Lindley was already named starter for this week.

Glad to hear it. Seems like a nice enough guy but not good enough to make it in the show as a starter. |
