I hate having to ask this question because he's been one of the lone bright spots to my horrid Chiefs teams of the past few years, but I must.
We are probably looking at a rebuilding period of sorts. Not sure if that involves a complete rehaul of every player on the roster or what, but I'm curious as to what Tamba would fetch us in a trade to set ourselves up better for the future. He's 29 years old right now and is obviously one of the best pass rushers in the league, including being one of the best at forcing fumbles.
So, FF brethren, what would you realistically give up to get him? _________________

I would trade him the entire Baltimore Ravens LB core outside of Upshaw and Suggs. _________________

I would give up a 3rd round pick for him at most.
Obviously he's worth more than that but he's 29 years old and we're not a contender anyway. Chiefs would be better off keeping him. |

That $12.25M salary in 2013 lowers his value quite a bit, in my opinion. _________________ Shut up, NBT |

...So what exactly do you mean? In terms of draft picks, what would you think his raw value is? _________________

3rd rounder....factoring in his age and the fact that he is pretty one dimensional. _________________

I'd go a 3rd and maybe throw in a 6th, or 3rd/5th and get a 6th in return. _________________

This given he's having a down year compared to previous years....it'd be better for KC to keep him IMO _________________

If I was a team with a pick in the low 20's or below I'd give up a 2nd rounder for him if I could use a good pass rusher. _________________

Not many teams in the low 20's have 13 million of free cap available for 30 year player having an average year |

He had a slow start, but he's actually been back on track since the Baltimore game. And he's having, IMO, his best season in the run game so far. _________________

Not much for Seattle. We have similar guys in Chris Clemons and Bruce Irvin. _________________
