The Detroit Lions, one of the most potent offenses in the NFL, picked up a total of 362 yards.

That's without Woodson, Matthews, Shields. That's with Rookies starting at 3 different positions and another couple playing significant minutes. That's with some very obvious holding calls the Packers didn't get.

We got 5 sacks and 4 turnovers.

Our offense had trouble getting into rhythm, our wonderful kicker put us into bad positions in a couple instances, and yet we still won.

This defense is coming together, and when Matthews, Woodson, and Shields come back, watch out.

I'm loving this team.

This is the big picture. This is critical to recognize. Guys like Moses and Daniels and House and Hayward are getting long looks, valuable experience and making big time plays. Props to Dom Capers for making this system work against what is an explosive offense while being handicapped with crippling injuries.

I'd argue Jordy is probably around the 30th-40th best receiver in the NFL, maybe 50th.

Am I the only one who thought the Refs were atrocious? Every third play we had they called a hold on us, but they could have continuous obvious holds and.... nothing. My friend who is a Dolphins fan texted me about how bad it was. Very frustrating.

EDS and Langs holds were like i was like Confused meh

the tramon was very obviously held saw moses get held a couple times along with a bunch of defensive holdings

refs were terrible this game

Couple plays here and there happen. No big deal. I did think that Moses was being held quite often though.

We got away with PI in the end zone in the 4th quarter when we were down 3, I believe.

Didn't we?

Also want to add, our return game wasn't too hot today.

Yeah. We'd complain if it happened the other way.

Was that a game changing missed call?

I was too nervous to really process it.

I thought PI too, a couple of guys on NFLN said that since Young initiated the contact and lost his footing it was the correct no-call. I personally don't know.

I agree with them. He ran into Hayward who had position and then just sort of fell over when he turned hoping for a flag. I don't think Hayward ever used his hands.
The no call was consistent with the James Jones play on our previous drive.

No doubt. But the calls/non-calls easily benefitted DET more this game. It wasn't even close TBH.

This is how I saw it. The no call on the James Jones obvious PI was way worse than the Titus Young flop.

Why complain about the refs in a game you won?

The refs missed some holding calls, and some pass interference calls, and maybe a facemask or two. Refs in every game always miss some of those calls.

There were several missed calls, but the Lions just flat out lost that game. They have no one to blame but themselves.

Congrats on the important win, Packers fans. Good luck the rest of the way.

People need to stop excusing poor officiating. These guys get paid plenty of money to do a job. If they cannot do the job, then they need to be replaced.
