I hate the Falcons franchise almost as much as the division rivals and Giants. _________________

5 sacks with no Matthews? Why yes, I do say that's a win. _________________

7-3
If we play and protect like that a week from today we will get our butts whupped.
Great play calling by McCarthy. Need a similar game plan when we play against that great front 4 of NY.
Starks earned his paycheck today. Tough running.
This Defense is really starting to come around. _________________ Ted brought us Clay

They'll get stomped by someone come playoff time. No way they will get this lucky against good competition with the season on the line. |

Once you guys get a kicker you'll be unbeatable. I'd just like to thank you guys for being classy in the game day threads today and not starting any trouble. I know how hard it is, especially in a game where there were good & bad breaks for both teams (and the refs giving both sides good & bad calls). Hopefully both fan bases can keep this up! _________________ Kate Upton for sexy President!!!

It would have been a killer to lose this game. This W feels good. We didn't play well for the majority of this game but our offense came back when it needed to and the defense made the necessary stops to ice it. I was frustrated with the refs for most of the day as well as our OL. I'm not very confident in those front 5 and I don't think Aaron is as well. Speaking of Aaron, he was off today but this man is taking a beating each and every week. Proud of the way he led us down the field for the game winning touchdown.
I never underestimate divisional rivals and I felt today was just another divisional fight. Nick Fairley embarrassed Saturday today. I thought Leshoure ran hard. Stafford… I don't know what happened but he looks terrible. He missed two touchdown passes to Calvin and was off target on several others. I thought he was one of the upcoming guys, even touted him as a top 8 QB but he just looks bad. I hate the way he whines after every call and gets up gimpy after every hit.
Mason…sure you're in a slump. But this is the NFL, 6 for the last 13 is inexcusable. Almost cost us this game.
FINLEYYYYYYY. It begins. I hope this game today propels him to the greatness he can attain if he works for it. Shut up the haters JMike and get to work.
I liked the way our defense played today, given Clay's absence. That secondary has some upcoming studs. _________________

That's what I love most of all about this game. A season may be over for some teams but the fans remain classy and vigilant.
+1 on the Skeet's LB kudos. Brad Jones is the 3rd ILB (isn't even an ILB IIRC) and he looked like a leader out there. Moses did well by Matthews IMO, forcing a penalty and could have gotten another one due to his get-off on the snap. I'm still not sold on Walden as a player, he has no technique and even burdens his team with penalties. I see a lot of near-penalties with that guy, too. Seems to go for the head a lot. |

Crosby is so unreliable at long distance, but at least he made the one that counted. _________________ "Wherever you go, you represent the team. You will talk like, you will look like and you will act like the most dignified professional in your hometown" - Vince Lombardi to his players. |

Reminds me of my experience with the two Lions fans I was watching this game with at the local Hooters. _________________ "Wherever you go, you represent the team. What? They all counted. If he made one of the other two he missed, we take a 24-20 lead without the one he made. _________________

+ JMike. Dude had a huge game for only have 3 targets
+ Randall Cobb
+Casey Heyward
-Playcalling. I'm all for establishing the run, but this squad shouldn't have more rushes than passes, imo.
-Rodgers' INT. You gotta make a better throw than that
-Mason Crosby, obviously. |

Well OK, but if he missed his last one as well, Lions only have to get down in FG range... _________________ "Wherever you go, you represent the team.
