also from person
Ron Rivera talked a lot about not getting positive yardage on the last drive, which ended with 3 Consecutive Run plays.
Brandon LaFell said it's hard to run the ball when the other team knows you're running it. _________________

What can I say? We take a different path every week but end up with the same results. _________________

Thats the most damning stat. That is just... horrible.
And I honestly cant figure out who deserves the blame. As someone mentioned, we have travelled 10 different roads to those 10 different last minute collapses. Offense, defense, calls, turnovers, missed assignments, missed FGs, special teams blunders. Its all in there.
Its hard to deal with as a fan. When your team is bad and play bad, you learn to accept it in a way. When your team is bad, but plays good for three quarters, and then falls to pieces, its like a cruel tease. You dont know where you stand. You dont know where the team stands. You just end up utterly frustrated.
I'm over it this season. I swore off watching the games last week. I'm glad I did. I just cant take it anymore. _________________

Can someone please shed some light on the Bucs last TD during regulation, as to why Luke Keuchly was the one covering the best receiver on the field? I realize we had Godfrey over the top to help, but why would you not have him covered by a CB with Safety help over the top? He's clearly the first option in that situation and he made a superb catch. I think Luke did an amazing job on the coverage considering he was very close to breaking that pass up and was covering one of the better receivers in the league.
Also, I am displeased by Josh Norman's coverage on the 4th and 1 conversion play with around 4:51 left in the game. You really need to analyze this play to understand my criticism of him this entire season. He started Back pedaling before the ball was even snapped, and continued to do so and eventually he was just not close enough to the receiver to break up the pass and the end result is a 10 yard completion. That was not a heads up situational awareness play by Norman. Why are you protecting the deep play on 4th and 1 with 5 minutes left in the game with the other team trailing? There's NO WAY they try a deep pass there, so he should have played press the entire play.
Anyways, i'm trying my best not to get upset anymore about these foolish losses, because it's inevitable this year and it's just disheartening.
On a positive note, I know that there's no way this happens considering our team sucks and he is a defensive player, but I would personally give Comeback Player of the Year to Thomas Davis. This guy has more heart than anybody on this team. He gives 130% on every play, and what he is doing out there after 3 ACL Tears is just absolutely amazing. _________________

After this game I can see the Big Cat, cleaning house in off season. No matter what we do in our final few games. We will have a new coaching staff and will gut the team once again. IMO _________________

Well that was probably going to happen anyway after we fired Hurney. Very rare do you see an outside GM hired but the coaching staff remains intact. Only the case if the hiring is in-house, which it was never going to be for us. |

I hate to say this but Gruden could easily change Cam's attitude as a HC _________________

Such a disheartening loss, imagine if it had playoff ramifications for us. So pissed the Bucs got the win. Makes it even worse. _________________

Pretty much. Gruden is a "win now" guy. Cam is in his early 20's. We need a talent evaluater and developer who can give us something for 7-10 years. Not a guy who will come in and help us make the playoffs 2 of the next 4 years. _________________

Either coach from last nights game in Eugene would do. _________________
