That secondary has a chance at being the absolute worst in the entire NFL. Talib is a terrible CB outside of the 2 deep zone where he made his name in the NFL. He's Dmitri Patterson as a 1 on 1 press cornerback... The offensive line is fixed but now teams will be scoring TDs through the air on the defense left and right.  |

So we get rid of.our two best CBs...
And then sign Talib (who.I like but NE will keep him) ... and draft a safety in the fourth who might not even be a real safety and a second round CB?
Our secondary would get destroyed. I don't like it. We have a ton of cap room why not keep DRC and sign someone like Bushrod in FA....that way we also keep our high pick. I just don't like that trade. Plus Miami wouldnt accept that...maybe only if we didn't get their first rd pick.
I do like Poyer....but we can't count on him to have an immediate impact.
Carradines a good pick for 3-4...but we are way better off staying in a 4-3...
I like the Vasquez signing. And I do like the coaching staff hires. Overall a decent mock. our defense would be worse than it was this year though...at least in the short term
