Hoping the injury to Smith isn't serious...not sure I want Parnell seeing extended playing time.
I also hope to God we put in Kowalski. _________________

I mean a Win is a Win but not exactly jumping for joy after that performance. Washington is gonna be a tough game on Thursday _________________

If we have another first half like that, we will lose on thanksgiving. In fact, the redskins may boat race us the way they just did Philly. _________________ Quote from May 7, 2013...

This game showed the importance of an offensive line. If Weeden was a remotely competent QB and not a rookie, that team would've trounced us every which way but loose because of how much time he had to throw the football. That o-line shut down our pass rush on almost every play.
I'm dead serious when I say this: if we had that offensive line, we'd go 14-2. Given our skill position players and QB, that o-line would make this team virtually unstoppable even with the deficiencies we have at head coach and on defense. _________________

We'd definitely be a contender in the playoffs. _________________ Quote from May 7, 2013...

| The offensive line was so bad. One of the worst offensive line performances in the past few years. Besides that, I was proud of their downfield attack. They took many shots downfield that should have gone for about 5 touchdowns, but they were either interfered (with a penalty called), interfered (without a penalty called), or they quit on the route (Austin). |

I'm so happy that we didnt gave them the win because of mental errors in the clutch. That is progress!
This was far from a pretty game, But we got the win. I don't mind playing ugly the rest of the season if we get a superbowl win..
This game really showed our problems. Costa and Murray, please be healthy for the game on thursday. Really hoping for Lissemore too, I think that he's about as good as Spears against the run and better then Crawford against the pass. anyone know when he's expected to be ready? |

I share everyone's concern re the OL, but what can Kowalski possibly bring to us given that he has not played in how long? He's bound to have a lot of rust. I don't like embracing the "he can't be as bad as so and so" mantra. That's a sad place to be but it's all we have re the OL. _________________ Northland |
