Schedule:
Packers vs Bears
Giants vs Panthers
Browns vs Ravens
Cardinals vs Rams
Steelers vs Titans
Seahawks vs 49ers
Buccaneers vs Vikings
Chiefs vs Chargers
Colts vs Jags
Dolphins vs Bills

Rest of the way:
Saints vs Falcons
Broncos vs Raiders
Bengals vs Eagles

-Now I know you can't do much when it starts week 2, but say around week 10 they can let teams know (within a couple weeks, like NBC) that they'll be playing Thursday in order to boost ratings (not really sure what the ratings are)

I'm bringing this question up because it just seems TNF games are not really a hype game and as much as NFLN tries to build it up, games like MIA/BUF or IND/JAX aren't going to bring ratings like a NO/ATL game. The rest of the way seems ok, maybe not the raiders/broncos, or bengals/eagles for that matter.

The only issue I forsee is the whole "we don't want teams that play TNF to have an away game prior of after" which would cause some scheduling conflicts.

Anywho, Should it be considered that TNF has flex scheduling later in the season?

They can't even do it with monday games, why would they be able to do it with thursday games?

I like it how it is currently -- it gives the teams who don't generally get any sort of national audience very often another shot at playing on the big stage. Otherwise, it's just going to be us seeing the same teams week in and week out and it's going to get stale. The games may not be as exciting as other ones in the same week, but it gives the nation a chance to see all of the teams. As well, it gives fans of bad teams that are out of market the ability to see their teams play more often as well.

It puts too much strain on travel and fans that plan this stuff way in advance usually. It works for games moved around on the same day, but not for different days unfortunately.

I think part of the TNF contract/deal is that every team plays on TNF once. If you boot someone, you sort of screw that up.

This.

Not to mention the people who buy tickets ahead of time who have to change their plans.

It's just not workable.

Every team gets to play a thursday game so flexing teams out would defeat that purpose.

I rather have them just eliminate Thursday night games all together. Never been a fan of them.

I like the way it is. Beyond just the logistical concerns mentioned above, we already have sunday and monday night for more "marquee" matchups. I like that we get to see games that are less "sexy." I wouldn't normally choose to watch a buffalo game, but last night afforded me that opportunity if I chose to take it without another game to conflict.

Now, whether or not there should be TNF is another discussion entirely.

Although, since they won't, keep 'em the way they are. I like getting to watch teams I wouldn't otherwise be able to see if they weren't on primetime.

I like the idea, they just need to have better matchups.

Division games are normally good, but like Indy vs. Jags? Phins vs. Bills?

I think a game like Bills. vs. Jags would have been better, as well as Phins vs. Colts.

Don't we have SNF and MNF for that, though?
