I'm unhappy this game got flexed. It's now blacked out in the UK and I have redzone to give me my Pats fix. I've seen some great stuff but missed the Edelman plays. |

I would love another pick six. |
Weak run back there Wilson. |

4.52. His 6.62 3-cone was ridiculous, though. |
who has the best cone number? what would be a typical elite CB's cone number? | 6.42 by Jeff Maehl is the combine record. Former Pat Mike Richardson had 6.27 at his pro day. |
ok. so then why 6.62 is good? never really paid attention to cone numbers. |

He did the smart thing. We don't need points, we don't need a big return. Just grab possession and qb sneak it to 0:00. _________________

Anything under 7 is pretty quick. Welker ran 7.09. AJ Green, just as an example of a top WR, ran 6.91. _________________ Shut up, NBT |

A bit late, but agree with you mcmurty. Talib got beat pretty badly a few times. That being said, he did show flashes of some really good coverage- far better than anything else we had seen out of Arrington this season and he obviously made some big plays for us. This is with only a week of practice with us. I'm cautiously optimistic.
Good game for us. Feel much better now than I did this past week after last weeks abomination. _________________

It was a good game for sure, but (as the case has been all year) the D only looks "good" (and given the amount of yardage and points they gave up, "good" is really only in comparison to their own putrid track record lately) when they generate a ton of turnovers. It was the same last year. Problem is that they get badly exposed when they don't create those turnovers or go against a team which is very protective of the ball.
In other words, the D did some things well today but really it was the same story as usual. Way too many open receivers, not enough pass rush and bailed out by the opposing QB making some awful decisions. |
