Sherman has to be one of the most intelligent players in the league. His knowledge for the WR position really helps him diagnosis the play as it happens. It doesn't mention it in the article but Sherman wasn't blitzing on his sack/fumble. He recognised he wasn't covering anyone and decided to blitz. Crazy stuff.

I remember reading that fact elsewhere. He was in zone coverage and saw that he didn't have a receiver across from him, so he decided to blitz. _________________
