I dont see how this game is considered a trap game by some Texans fans. Jags are flat our horrible, and they will be without their best player on the team in MJD, and other key players on their D could be out as well. _________________

I think Kubiak calls the dogs off at halftime and goes into ultra conservative mode in the second half, he just doesn't have it in him to bury an opponent. Texans win 24-10.

That's exactly why I think it's a trap game combined with the excitement of the upcoming thanksgiving game against Detroit. The Jaguars are so bad that is very easy to overlook them. That might mean a 3-point victory instead of a 20-point blowout. _________________

I think that with all the crazy stuff that has happened to us in the past 3-4 seasons we are going to take this game seriously.
The Jags are clearly in a rebuilding mode, but they do have some playmakers who could catch us off guard.
Dont forget it was a 10 point game late in the 3rd the last time we played them and we are going off probably the hardest fought game of the season.
But with no MJD, and it being a home game for almost a full month, i think we take it big
31-7, Kubiak is smart and knows we play thursday so i can see Yates handing it off to Forsett a lot in the 4th quarter _________________

Jags shock the world, win 13-10. Texans line up for the GT FG with :03 seconds on the clock, kick is blocked by Pot Roast as times expires. Cecil Shorts establishes himself as a WR of the future with a 12/141/1 TD game. Blaine Gabbert gets sacked 7 times, but still manages to drive team 77 yards in eight plays to set up said TD pass to Shorts with 1:21 left.
Whole world wonders how Texans let this one get away. _________________

In the "Gary Kubiak: underrated?" topic, I had typed up this big long response about how I didn't think he was underrated because he's widely recognized as one of the brightest offensive minds in the business but was deficient as a head coach because of his insufferable cronyism up to the point of hiring Wade.
As part of that spiel, I was going to say that one thing Kubiak does very well as a head coach is keeping the players focused. For as disappointing as some of his teams have been, the players never gave up on them, and he always seems to have them focused on the game at hand. The environment he's created with this team's lockerroom is that of absolute professionalism. I think this team is more or less impervious to the mental pitfalls that lead to trap games. I don't see a Gary Kubiak team led by the likes of Matt Schaub, Andre Johnson, JJ Watt, and Antonio Smith overlooking a division rival.
Houston wins this one 31-10. _________________
