I honestly don't know what to expect in this game.
The Vikings should have a bit of an advantage with their DL plus the crowd noise, against that dreadful Chicago OL.
However, I worry about the psychological impact of that loss to Green Bay.

The Vikings could win this game. Crowd noise + defensive line getting after Cutler. On offense I'd like to see Peterson with another 200 yard game, Ponder with at least 50 yards, and a lot of time of possession.
Glad to see people stopped with thatnonsense about the offense being better without Harvin. _________________

This game will tell everybody what kind of team this is. Not talent wise, but mindset wise. If they come out and play soft, with no energy, we will know that they have given up.
Ponder needs to show that he's worth something. He needs to make plays, not just manage the game. He has completely lost the fan base, even what little their was. At home the crowd will quickly turn on him.
HAND THE BALL TO PETERSON. One thing that has bugged me more and more this season, is that the only people that have been able to slow down Peterson are his own coaches. It is inexcusable coaching to take the ball out of his hands, and put it in the hands of a quarterback who is playing the way Ponder has been playing.

Vikings tend to play really well at home. Get a decent passing offense, and we will see. _________________ XBL/PSN: Chainedsniper |

| I see the Vikings winning this one, I dont know what to make of the Bears and Peterson will be running hard on his quest to 2000 yards. |

We could win purely because Peterson is Peterson and Cutler can be forced into making a mistake or two if the pass rush can get going.
That means we'd have to control the clock by feeding Peterson early and often, but I don't know if any of us can say for sure that Musgrave will actually do that. He doesn't seem to subscribe to the age-old philosophy, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." _________________

Christmas wish #1: Vikings have Time of Possession advantage and no turnovers this game.
If that happens, Vikes win 35-17. |

Bears lost 3 of their last 4; and it showed they are not the team as their record might indicate. If their defense doesn't score and create an immense amount of turnovers, it's hard for them to win. We have the exact same troubles if our running game is not working.
Anywho, I think that we are the better overall team. I think it's a very important game going forward, after 2 tough losses and finally being home.
We'll win and get the Bears thinking... |

I can't wait to see how the crowd reacts if Ponder throws another stupid INT and this one gets out of hand. _________________

It'll be interesting. I hope he doesn't, but who knows...his confidence appears to be shot right now, so any bad mistake on his part which causes the crowd to react negatively, he may be done. Frazier may have to keep him on a short leash. _________________

We always seem to have the daunting task of playing a team after the opponent comes off a nasty loss. Green Bay/NY now the Bears after that loss at home to Seattle.
They are going to be super hungry for a playoff spot along with it being a divisional game.
Winfield did his job on B Marsh last time. Hoping for a repeat.
Forte could have a big game. _________________

tws . . . lest you forgot, the Bears were creamated by the 49ers the week before we went there. Now, last week, I think the Bears overlooked the Seahawks and couldn't make plays when they needed.
This week they're on the Vikes turf -- I'm not guaranteeing that matters But after two road losses to division opponents, take a guess as to who's more hungry?
Yes, the Bears have the advantage of QB and WR talent . . . I'm thinking I'll stick with that Adrian guy and the Vikes pass rush in the dome. |
