It looks like samari rolle will be a deadskin.
The baxter rumor is true he did turn down a 10 mil. signing bonus. He still could stay there.
I know the Cowboys are high on Ken Lucas. Id def. like to get him the most for the overall value he will give us. |

Baxter turning down a $10M signing bonus is asinine on Baxter's part. He's a good CB, but he's not great. I can't seen another team giving Baxter giving him any more than what the Ravens offered. But then again, I didn't think Rolle would get a $15M signing bonus. _________________

Rolle said that he is looking for a $12+ million signing bonus. Where is Washington going to pull that from? They don't have the money to do that.
And if they trade Coles, it'll accelerate $9 million on this year's cap ON TOP of an additional $4-5 million roster bonus for the trade, meaning it would cost Washington close to $15 million to get rid of him. |

this is what the thing said, didn't think they had the money to do it either
The Washington Times is reporting that the Redskins are close to signing CB Samari Rolle. His signing bonus is believed to be around $15 million. He was released by the Titans on Feb. 21 in a cost-cutting move. ... Redskins coach Joe Gibbs says that a trade that would send WR Laveranues Coles back to the N.Y. Jets for WR Santana Moss "is not very likely." Gibbs says he wants to work something out. _________________

| They can have Rolle. Fred Smoot is better. I mean, they will lose Champ Bailey and Fred Smoot in two years. I'd rather see them do that and sign Rolle than keep these two. |

I'll take Lucas or Smoot...damn you guys are being picky...maybe you'd just like to take a chance with some more unproven talents this year?
