| It's still Watt IMO even though I believe Von will win it at the end. Watt hasn't slowed down, it's just hard to rack up sacks when you're literally getting double and triple teamed every play.... |

I believe it'll end up between Watt and Miller, but just an FYI, Miller is double teamed just as much as JJ Watt _________________

My vote goes to J.J. Watt.

Good thing Watt isn't doubled every play eh?

Not really, no. They're both better run defenders than Watt(particularly Justin Smith) but neither have the athletic ability to rush the passer and knock balls down like Watt does. Haloti Ngata doesn't really deserve mention anyway. Calais Campbell is the guy who doesn't get enough attention. Out of all of those guys he's probably the one who would stand the best chance of replicating what Watt does in that defense. _________________ Stop slobbering over Brian Dawkins |

Im still going J.J. Watt too, although Miller and Tillman are starting to catch up. Should know more about this award in another 4 weeks. _________________

If Revis can't win DPOY, there is no CB that should be able to. _________________

However I still have Watt #1 just slightly ahead of Peanut. _________________

I'd go Tillman. 7 FF is just crazy. 2 pick 6s and being a lockdown corner on top of that. | Noted. I tried to add 'Other' to the poll, yet somehow this wasn't included. | FIFY _________________

The year Bailey lost to Jason Taylor, he was having arguably one of the greatest statistical seasons ever for a CB. It's unfair that CBs have a tough time winning.
Tim Jennings and Tillman are both playing out of their minds. If either of them won it, I honestly wouldn't be mad. There's four players who deserve it right now. _________________

Completion percentage against, QBR against, etc. don't show up on the stat sheet like a 20ish sack season does. That's why pass rushers win DPOTY over DBs. _________________

*insert Bears defender here* should win DPOY as of right now. _________________

Jennings is not the best, metrically. Maybe if you want to just use QB rating against, but that kind of comes with the whole 8 INTs thing. Brandon Flowers and Ladarius Webb (pre-injury) have both allowed lower completion percentages, lower ypa against, lower ypc against, the same or fewer TDs against, and FAR fewer yards and completions against. _________________

I would also argue that Lardarius Webb (post-injury) has the best CB metrics in the NFL. 0 targets, 0 catches, 0 touchdowns, 0.00 QBR against him.

I see it as Watt's to lose with 4 or 5 contenders behind him _________________
