| I read today that the Raiders released one of their starting CBs, Pat Lee. The guy is listed at 6'0" and 200Lbs. From what I have read his play has been pretty solid this year. Do you think we should take a serious look at him? |

If his play was solid this year he wouldnt have gotten cut.

Honestly as bad as I think this secondary is they are playing great as a unit because there is some odd chemistry.
No need to disrupt that for someone unless it is a great player IMO.
This guy was cut by Raiders who are not exactly loaded with talent. No thanks

| He played for the Packers for 3 or 4 years before joining the raiders. If we were willing to look at Stanford Routt it seems like he should get a look also. |

What scheme do they play? Was it a case of him being better suited for a different defense like Houston was?

You dont go from starter to cut just because a better player is coming off IR. Sure if QB, K or P where they are shallow. DB you carry a bunch.
He simply is not that good

I was just going off of what an article said. Other corners below him may have had some guaranteed money that their GM wouldn't want to be on the hook for.
I do agree that he probably isn't that good.

He was pretty awful when with the Packers. Not sure about this year but I don't think we need to add anything to our CB spot right now unless a stud becomes available. When Florence comes off the IR, we can cut Alphonso and be fine. Or let Greenwood get some snaps.

He had the worst sequence of Kick Returns I have ever seen against us last year. Not sure what he brings in terms of coverage.

I think another addition wouldn't be bad depending on who it is. I don't want Lee tho.
