Make a play for Scrabbles if he gets axed. Edwards would not get PT here. _________________

I live in Pennsylvania so I see plenty of Eagles games and I can tell you that Scrabble is far from washed up. He's not the best cornerback in the league anymore, but I think he's not being utilized correctly in Philadelphia. I would love to sign him if he came at the right price, but I'm sure contending teams would be willing to pay him more money than the Browns would.
Edwards? No thanks. I never understood why people wanted him here so badly in the first place. He's always been an extremely overrated player. _________________ Cleveland Browns Forum Hall of Fame Inductee

You sign Asomugha, and Trade Haden to the Cowboys for Mike Jenkins. Everyone wins. |
Can't tell if serious or not? Did you leave out a first round pick or two in that trade or DeMarcus Ware? _________________

Edwards is trash, however, I would VERY much be open to signing Nnamdi.
He is not a good fit in Philly and would still be an elite #2 corner. As long as he doesn't want an over the top salary, I would look into a 3 year deal. _________________

I would LOVE to have Scrabble on the team. Both he and Haden would make a great tandem in my opinion.
Peace!! _________________

I would love another capable CB opposite Haden, but there is no way (easier than spelling it) comes here... he moved on from the Raiders for a reason and even though most of us feel like the Browns are on the rise, I'm sure the market for a viable #1 CB will still be pretty heavy and we won't be at the top. |

I don't know where the idea of Asomugha not being elite is coming from. He's still a Top 5 CB in the league.. Some of you guys saying he'd make a good number two or that you don't even want him at all, quite frankly, are crazy lol.
Haden and Asoumgha.. _________________ RIP Crakburn, B2TB, Sean Taylor and Chris Henry

| Ok I would be down for giving Nnamdi $$ to come play cornerback at number 1 or 2. He could do his zone play way better then sheldon could do man or zone right now. He is probably the best tackling corner in teh league outside of tillman and winfield from vikings. He is just in the wrong system in Philly. Bring him here. |

Scrabble is getting beat deep time and time again.
He's averaging 18 yards a catch and 3 TD's against so far, but is only allowing 57% of his passes to be completed. _________________ 2013 First Ballot Recipient of the Joe Blackburn Award |

| I love threads like this... he was just cut by the team with the best record in the NFL... WE GOTTA GET THIS GUY! Edwards got a fat contract because he played next to Jared Allen. No thanks. |

Edwards was never that good of a pass rusher. He was borderline elite as a run stopping DE.
Given our run D, i would take him in a heart beat _________________

People said the same about Frostee Rucker, he's not any good against the run. _________________ Adopt-a-Brown: Jabaal Sheard - Stats:
