Eh, he could be. His spinal condition is still very real, and he apparently just performed poorly at his pro day. I wouldn't be suprised to see him free fall (and I'm talking like a multiple round drop).

but the guy can flat out play we will rue the day we dont draft him if hes there in the second, i admit im scared at 5 but in the second too much of a baller to pass,

i also think its a bit odd how people are not down with jones cause of the spine but are down with star despite his heart

He plays well in the NCAA though. Do you think that automatically transitions to the NFL?

How many times do we see a great player in the NCAA that isn't effective in the NFL?

Charlie Casserly just said he doesn't remember any linebacker Jones size that was able to overcome a 4.9 second 40 and be successful in the NFL.

That's just one guys opinion but Jones didn't work out at the combine, ran slow at his pro day and isn't a huge guy.
Yeah, I wouldn't completely dismiss a guy for being under-sized. But it would be nice if he was an exceptional athlete, shined in positional drills, and didn't bomb his physical tests.

Yeah, his performance at his pro day opened up a whole new set of questions about him.

im more confident because hes done it for 2 years, obviously no one is bust proof but i feel better about him than some 1 year wonder.

I mean, if his biggest problem is dehydration then I'm pretty sure the team will make sure he gets plently of water. But, I'm no doctor, so I can't really talk much about medical stuff because I'm just saying what I've seen whether it makes sense or not.

yeah im no doctor either so i dont like to play one on the internet, ive never looked at his spine or stars heart or milliners shoulder or the list goes on and on

Him, DJ Monroe, and Marquise Goodwin are 3 guys that I really like as a replacement for Logan. Goodwin is probably going to go to high for us because he ran very well at the combine, but Dunn and Monroe should be 6th or 7th rounders at best, so they could be good cheap options to replace Logan. Gee Gee Greene is also a guy who could be a good 4th string RB, but he doesn't really have break away speed.

Would definitely love Cooper here. I'm also warming up to Menelik Watson in the 3rd, maybe trading back up into the 2nd for him.

Looks like the Lions worked out Alex Okafor at his pro day.

I'd loooooove him in the 2nd. Really solid player IMO.

I wanted him in FFMD with our second.

I think he's one of the most underrated players in the draft. He should be in the mid round 1 discussion at this point.

Yep, I really like Okafor. An ideal draft for me would be
1. Fisher
2. Okafor
3. Robert Woods/Terrence Williams (if either fall).

I'd rather have Dobson in the 3rd, but I wouldn't complain with either of those.

Latest word is that Margus Hunt won't get out of the first round.
