Whats everyone's thoughts on this hire?
Granted, he doesn't have much talent to work with, his offense is absolutely terrible. Its the same conservative, predictable type of stuff we saw under Schotty. Three and outs galore. Does the lack of offense fall on Rex rather than the OC? We know Rex wants a ball control "ground and pound" play not to lose offense.
Also, how has it affected Sanchez? He is absolutely terrible this year. At least the last three years he improved statistically. This year he's on a free fall. Last season Sanchez also didn't have much to work with. He had Holmes and Keller the whole year, but the running game was bad still and we had the epic fail of WFH at RT. Plaxico > Hill though.
I thought losing Schotty would be addition by subtraction. Then we brought in this guy. |
