Mock Draft

I'm gonna do something a little different here. Instead of just putting in one outcome of a draft, I'm gonna put several variations of how a draft may turn out (with just rounds 1-3) and I'm curious as to which outcomes we can agree would be most beneficial to this team. I will also assume that we pick between 7th-10th, which is a conservative estimate based on our level of play to date.

2) best safety available - Matt Elam or T.J. McDonald
3) best OT available for Right Tackle spot - Williams, Aboushi, Ricky Wagner

[u][b]Outcome #2 Luke Joeckel - next line of players that are too good to pass up plus a position of need

1) Luke Joeckel
2) best safety - Matt Elam or TJ McDonald
3) best DE - Michael Buchanan, Brandon Jenkins, William Gholston

In the event the above two do not fall to Eagles and they look to trade down

1b) Taylor Lewan or Jake Matthews
2) best safety - Matt Elam or TJ McDonald
3a) best DE - Michael Buchanan, Brandon Jenkins, William Gholston
3b) best WR - Cobi Hamilton

[b][u]Outcome #4 - focus on additional offense weapons [/u][/b][u]

1b) Taylor Lewan or Jake Matthews
2) best WR- Da'Rick Rogers, DeAndre Hopkins, Cordarrelle Patterson
3a) best Safety- Duke Williams, Robert Lester
3b) best DE - Michael Buchanan, Brandon Jenkins, William Gholston


What outcome/approach would you like to see? Frankly, although I think this team needs safety help, the addition of a guy like Da'Rick Rogers or the other WRs that will fall in the second may be too tempting to pass up. If only the Eagles could pull off a trade that would generate an additional 2nd round selection.....IMO that would be optimal.

Star is going to be taken top 5 unless they're all QB needy teams.

Althought, I do like the idea of Jake Matthews or Taylor Lewan or Luke Joeckel.

My preference would be Joeckel.

But Hankins or Star should be the pick if Joeckel is gone.
