Alright, I've got something to say
It's better to burn out than fade away!

Rise up, gather round, mock this place to the ground
Burn it up, let's go for broke, watch the night go up in smoke
Mock on! Mock on!

What do you want? What do you want?
I want a decent draft, yes I do
Long live Mock 'n' roll

Mock of ages, mock of ages
Still picking, keep a-signing
Mock of ages, Mock of ages

Now listen to me!

Ok we got needs and I got picks and free agents I think will fill them nicely.

Free Agency:

CB Sean Smith, Miami. Still young and has decent size. A very nice compliment to Haden. Will replace Sheldon Brown.

FS Jairus Byrd, Buffalo. Excellent safety with serious ballhawk skills. Imagine him playing next to Ward.

G/T Geoff Schwartz Minnesota. Big guard who can also play tackle in a pinch. With Geoff on the line either lauvos or pinkston can come off the bench.

WR Mike Wallace, Pittsburgh. I don't think squeelers will retain Wallace after signing Brown. Plus they have not been using Wallace at all. I think the writing is on the wall here. With Haslem coming from Pitt, I feel he might want to bring in a big name from there onto this team.

Draft: Currently we have all of our picks except our 2nd (Josh Gordan).

1st. I see us picking 5th this year. I feel we address our other DE here with Damontre Moore, DE, Texas A&M. So far he has 17 TFL and 9.5 sacks. He can also play OLB as well incase our defense is switched to 3-4 due to coaching changes.

3rd. Desmond Trufant, CB, Washington. We need to address our DBs. We basically lost in Dallas because Haden went down. Nothing wrong with adding mid round talent in a needed position.

4th. Blaize Foltz, OG, TCU. Adding depth to our o-line here.

5th. Jake Stoneburner, TE, OSU. Homer pick in a likely spot. I love this kids hands. Everytime I see a ball thrown to him, he brings it in.

6th. Cory Grissom, DT, South Florida. Again just adding depth to the lines here.

7th. Nick Florence, QB, Baylor. Like what I saw from him in their big win. If he is here we take a 7th rounder shot at the kid being a developmental type. Weeden is getting up there in years. LOL.

There you have it. Happy Thanksgivings brothers!

That is all

thats one hell of a FA.

Can't be upset about the draft. THough, I think we need a more well rounded TE to replace Watson/Smith. Stoneburner is not that guy.

And drafting a DT seems to be a wasted pick IMO. Need more DE's though.

One of the most unrealistic mocks I have seen this season.

Mike Wallace wouldn't come here even if Pittsburgh lets him walk.

Sean Smith is not getting out of Miami. The have no one else to worry about so he will get the tag bc they have the money.

Jairus Byrd is in the same boat. They can afford to let Levitre walk because Urbik is playing well and only a RFA. There defense has been down right bad and they cannot let one of their better young players go. At the worst he gets the tag there too.

As far as the picks they are good and at least in the same area code as possible. Depending on who is picking ahead of us Moore could very well be gone but that is nitpicking. Same thing with Desmond Trufant. I doubt he falls out of the Top 50 picks.

FA is a little over the top, but Haslam and Banner would have to really have some gravitas to pull in a group like that.

Schwartz is the most realistic of the bunch. I get the feeling he intentionally only signed for one year last year so he could see where his brother went, so he could play next to him.

The draft is very good.

I love Moore, escpecially because of his flexibilty as a DE/OLB.

Trufant would be a good pick, but I'd take the best CB available because I don't see Banner re-signing Sheldon Brown (or signing a high-priced FA CB).

Love Stoneburner, who I think is underrated in his blocking ability. I think he'll probably end up going somewhere in the 4th, but that's nitpicking.

Don't get the need for OG and DT depth. Especially if you're signing a FA OG. That would be G. Schwartz, Greco, Pinkston, Luavao and Miller at OG. Plenty deep. At DT, we've already got Rubin, Taylor, Hughes, Winn, Kitchen and Cameron. Plenty deep.

LB and RB depth is what I think should be targeted.

Florence would be a great developmental QB. We'll need someone, since Thad Lewis is Shurmur's boy.

Schwartz missed all of 2011 with a hip injury. I think thats the more likely reason a team only wanted to sign him for one year.

Boys it's not like your reasoning's are mutually exclusive. Both could be correct.

But ether way the schwartz brother connection plus Mack connection as they all went to Cal IIRC.

The Oregan connection with Ward and Byrd may help too if and when Byrd hits the Market.

Free agency unrealistic. You did fill most holes though. I do think we will be more active in free agency but not near as much as you do.
