I can honestly say that no individual lost this game.
Though, the penalties on defense is definitely a front runner in costing us the game. |
Agree, but you can't fault defensive back for playing physically, especially when Bryant had his hands in Skrine's face on about ALL of those penatly calls and a few non-calls as well.
Overall, the Cowboys played as well as we did in the second half, we played better than them in the first half, and the refs decided the game.
No real doubt about it. |
I noticed that about Byrant as well.
And I also wont fault a guy for being physical(skrine) most on here scream for that type of play. _________________ 2013 First Ballot Recipient of the Joe Blackburn Award |

I think Shurmur really wanted to call out the refs there during his press conference, but decided not to.
I kinda wish he'd have gone "batsnot" crazy there. C'mon Pat....it's your job you're trying to keep. _________________

one of the most excruciating games i've ever watched.
conservative offense playcalling at the end of the half, what some dude at the bar dubbed the Prevent Offense, once again. 1 minute to go and not even an attempt to get into FG range.
and the refs blew it. plain and simple. _________________

Besides tight end, possibly Weeden and off. line depth I think we will have a pretty good offense. Weeden I still think makes it. No use drafting one next year. I like weeden better than Barkley and Smith. Tyler Wilson is a sleeper. Little seems to be holding onto the ball. Changed my mind on Sheldon Brown he needs to go. The only unrestricted free agent we need to keep is Dawson.
Def. end, corner, safety and t.e. are Brown's biggest needs. Watson or Alex Smith can stay one more year.
Hate to say it but I think the whole coaching staff goes. We might keep the o.l. coach and Jauron but unlikely. _________________ browns and indian fan 7272

Count me in, too.
The D penalties were one key.
The "rope-a-dope" O and D plans for the 2nd half were another.
I was watching just wondering how exactly they would manage to lose. _________________ Everything happens exactly the way it is supposed to happen...otherwise, it would happen some other way |

I agree. Impossible. He will be fired. And I can't argue he shouldn't. But nobody can deny this team fights. I think he has done a great job keeping his group motivated. _________________ There's always money in the banana stand |

Shurmur doesn't know how to win...that's why his team doesn't, either. _________________ Everything happens exactly the way it is supposed to happen...otherwise, it would happen some other way |
