I care. I like to think there's integrity in games whether that's a game between Cleveland vs. New England where one team going in should steamroll the other team. That the calls are being made based on what happens on the field and not what happens on a line in Vegas... |

That was easily the correct call. I saw it before Fox put the yellow flag signal on the screen and I pointed it out, much to the dismay of most of the other patrons at the bar I was at. _________________ GO PACK GO!

So, to be clear, your argument is that they almost snapped it in time, so the penalty should be ignored? _________________

I agree, i don't see what the problem is. The rams have no one to blame but themselves. _________________ Deep down inside...If you bleed red and pee gold...your a redskins fan |

It was a great game that I will rewatch. Both teams had a chance to win the game.
Btw, Danny Amendola is a boss _________________

Am I complaining about how we got screwed out of over a minute when we were down and maybe that minute plus could have helped us get a fg before halftime? The tie is what it is. Let it go. |
Well considering who had the ball when half ran out, I wouldn't be. That minute complete changes how things were run at the end of the second half for both teams.
But I will complain about the referees' indecision stealing nearly 10 seconds from the Rams at the end of overtime and I will be annoyed that the refs consistently allowed the 49ers to run an illegal play to get pressure.

I'm not sure if you're being serious right now or are completely ignorant to the facts of that game. The replacement refs took 2 TDs off the board for the Rams on blown calls. _________________

Rams had a timeout still on the board. Just crazy to think Fisher wasn't watching the play clock to use that timeout. Coaches fault on that one. Also, i assume someone on the FG unit is assigned the assignment of watching the play clock, probably the holder? Either way, with a timeout on the board, that should never happen. _________________

I was rooting for the Rams while watching the game, but they can't blame anyone but themselves. If you have the timeout you use it in that situation. The penalty at the beginning of overtime was huge too, and that laid squarely on them as well.

Although they tend to let you snap the ball 5 minutes after the play clock expired if it's a crucial 3rd down in the final 2 minutes of a tied playoff game. Don't worry, I'm still not bitter or anything. |
YES!! When it's in the playoffs on a huge third down, it can sit at zero for literally 3 to 4 seconds without a penalty. |
Wouldn't have mattered. Ravens needed 2 yards and got 28. What's another 5 yards?
Besides, the Titans got the benefit of the refs in the regular season match up, Ravens got it in the post season. Fair is fair. _________________

The clock hit zero, and the ball wasn't snapped. Stupid, but it's the Rams fault, not the refs. _________________

3rd and 7, you know its pass and don't have to really play the run. Plus, 2 of our linebackers had their freaking backs turned to the QB when it was snapped, asking for the delay of game call.
NFL's gotta protect Kerry Collins though, you can't hold that against us. _________________
