I didn't say Luck was better because he was a pocket passer.
I said he was better because he faced a tougher set of circumstances and accomplished more.
Not only would Griffin have to throw the ball downfield, he would have to throw a significant number of times more than he has done.
How many interceptions would he have in those circumstances?
I don't know.
But, they would go up and his completion percentage would go down.
Consider the lack of a running game and the dearth if turnovers in Indianapolis and that more than negates the fact he had a superior receiver.
Also, conveniently ignore the fact that after Austin Collie went down after his first catch of the season Colts receivers not named Reggie Wayne had 169 career catches, 163 by Donnie Avery and six by Wesley Saunders.
Every other receiver and TE was a rookie.
Furthermore, 60% of the Colts offensive line couldn't make the Eagles.
The more times I have to explain it , the more certain I am right. |

Week 17 game, against a rival, must win game.
Throws 18 times and completes 9.

Northern Illinois with the huge onside kick recovery.
I want them to win.

The playing surface at Sun Life Staium looks like a fairway you would see at your local golf course. _________________

First of all, dearth means lack of something. There definitely hasn't been a lack of turnovers coming from Luck. The funny thing about your misusage of the word dearth is that I misused it the same way in a public speaking class. I used it without ever consulting a dictionary. As soon as I gave the speech I seen the professor's face go from overall elation to disappointment. Anyway, Griffin would run anywhere he went so his turnovers would still be low and his rushing numbers pretty high. He'd probably be more of a scrambler for the Colts just like Big Ben earlier in his career under Arians but it would look more similar to Vick in 2010. He would then IMO put up a 2010 Vick type season and still be worthy of ROY. Luck wouldn't have the benefit of a true #1 receiver in Washington but he would have the great 6th round pick running back who surely would be the same exact player without the benefit of RG3. |

Yeah i saw your post early and didnt think anything about it , then mid game was like "WTF IS THAT!!! ", yeah it looks like a putting green almost. But i thought it was artificial like a track like surface. Even the player look different running on it. _________________

Wasn't stats useless?
RG3 or Wilson should win the (O)ROY _________________

Useless when used blatantly wrong.
Even Vick had more than twice the completions than RG3 in a garbage game where he was benched.
Think about it. Must win game. Division rival. Home game. Win and you're in, lose and you're done.
Your quarterback completes 9 passes? Really? Crown him then. _________________

Hm...Eagles Forum Civil War started over offensive rookie of the year.
I always thought it'd be over Upton vs Rosie.
I'm on the Luck and Rosie side......though Wilson has a case too....but he gets a ton of help from Lynch and that D.....plus they wouldn't give it to him over their two darlings. _________________
