Dangerous territory. 2 bad losses. This will test Allen. A lot of risk losing the team now. Scary position to be in as a rookie HC. |
I really like Allen as a person and leader too. Sucks to see. _________________

My bad. I'd keep Palmer. Unless they decide to go full blowup and rebuild with a young rookie QB. |
I think it'd be a mistake to not go D in round 1. The offense isn't great, but it'd be better if the OL was better and if they didn't have to consistently put up 30+ to even have a chance to win. The whole D needs to be blown up, though. I agree that those are pretty much the only guys on D who can stay. I'd keep DHB around, too, but I think we could use a true number 1 receiver. I'd need a new pair of pants if we could somehow land Marqise Lee next year. _________________

We definitely need to go D in the draft. I think Allen's smart enough to cut the cord on Knapp after the season, and if he hires the right OC, we'll be much improved on offense from that alone. _________________

DA hired Knapp, who's to say he won't hire someone just as bad if Knapp is fired. He and RM want their system and that system just doesn't fit here right now. _________________

The offensive line has been the biggest problem this year, Wiz has struggled at center, Brisiel is average and Carlisle is still starting. Oh yeah and we replaced our weakest link last year (Barnes) with an even weaker link (Smith). We need a RT and LG, if were lucky Bergstrom can fill one of those positions and we can find the other in FA or draft.
If we fix the line this offense will click, Palmer has looked good, just imagine if he had a better pocket and a run game. _________________

Barnes is injured, that's why he's not starting. _________________

We need a impact player bottom line and trading out we why might miss out on that Opportunity _________________ Raiders 2013 |

Wrong, We need new starters at about every position on defense, we need two new starters on the offensive line, we need depth at EVERY position.
An impact player wouldnt help us as much as trading down and getting multiple contributors and depth. Unless that impact player is Von Miller, Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin, Calvin Johnson, Ndamukong Suh, Matt Kalil. But I dont see any elite prospects like that in this draft. It kinda sucks to be honest. _________________

This draft doesn't look that good to me (at the top) so we might as well try to find a few solid guys later. _________________
