We loved him in the draft. IMO he was made for GB's offense. Can't believe Philban isn't throwing to him on mismatches in Miami, he's got a Marshall Faulk there, and hes treating him like Michael Bush.
Would be ideal here, low usage scheme, great receiver, big play ability, smart player.
Could get him for 3/12m. |

How much cap room would we have if we resigned players like CM3, ARod, Raji, and even possibly Jennings?
He's having a few productive years in Mia, but the injury would probably get him a few $$ cheaper. However, he's in his late 20s and I'd personally like to see what we have in Starks/Green combo. Could be a Starks/Grant - Jackson on 3rd downs kind of combo.
The madden side of me has me licking my chops though _________________ Packers fan since 93. |

Give me that 4 mil a year to go to Greg Jennings instead. Reggie Bush is more inconsistent than JerMichael Finley. _________________

No me gusta. As much as we like to say, "he's a great WR!" he also benefits from a great QB and a great WR corp that allows him to get open more than usual WR with his talent level. He's no Calvin or Larry. I really hope we don't break bank for a aging WR when we have youth building blocks on the team. You look at which teams have the top QBs, OLBs, ect compared to the "top" WRs and it's pretty different. You can't build your team around one WR even though the Cardinals try so damn hard to.

I'd be open to bring in Bush, from what I remember he's turned into a pretty good pass blocker. As for salary cap and contract, I think it will take $19-20 over 4 to win his services, he's run between the tackles and demonstrated the traits of a much more complete back in Miami then the one we saw always try and take the edge in New Orleans. The Packers cap though, there is a number of vets who may have been caught by father time or will be victims of contracts exceeding their market value. The end result, enough cap space to make take care of a couple players. Not saying who, that's not for here this is a Reggie Bush discussion.
Unless a couple veterans gets released like DeAngelo Williams, the Running Back pool is going to be shallow and the draft class low on elite talent. Reggie Bush, Steven Jackson, Rashard Mendenhall, Felix Jones, who else is going to be a FA? _________________

What? Bush has a bad habit of looking for the home run every play and not getting what is there. But there is nothing wrong with that man's vision grade. Very high end there IMO. _________________

Nicely done.
However, I don't consider at this time Nelson, Jones or Cobb a true number 1 Go-To WR and Jennings is that. Maybe they would be enough IF we had the Finley of '09 and not the Finley of '12 playing with them.
i won't argue that this team could use a legit RB. Ahmad Green would have thrived with this group and pushed it over the top.
However, would the 9er teams have won their SBs w/o Rice and having taylor, Watters, (forget their TE name)?
Would the Dallas teams have won their rings w/o Irvin with having Novacek, Emmitt, Harper and company? In both cases the answer would be no imo.
Teams need a number 1 WR. Now if not Jennings next year than we need to draft another one to take those reins over in a year..... |

Would not fight ya on that. Was not a shot at you by any means either.
For some reason the vision thing with Bush has come my way a hand full of times over the years. Not sure why to tell the truth. There is a hell of a lot of tape on Bush out there and the man has graded well on vision since HS. Only thing I could come up with is that many see him dancing around out there and think he can't find it. I disagree. Vision is not something that comes and goes and Bush can find it every time when he has his mind right. Not going to take him looking for those home runs out of him though, and truth be told, I'm not 100% sure ya want too. _________________
