In Week 17 Andrew had 5 rushes for 1 yard. Giving him 62 rushes for 255 yards 5 TDs which is the 5th best single season effort in Colts history. And 7th in career rushing for a QB. (4.1 yards/car, 15.9 yards/game)
Colts record for single season rushing by QB
bold = Colts record
Mike Pagel: 441 yards (1983)
Bert Jones 2X: 321 yards (1975), 279 yards (1974)
George Shaw: 301 (1955)
Colts Career Rushing Stats (QBs)

2. Bert Jones (1973-1981) 1,356 yards // 14 TDs
3. Jim Harbaugh (1994-1997) 856 yards // 3 TDs
4. Mike Pagel (1982-1985) 832 yards // 4 TDs
5. Peyton Manning (1998-2010) 722 yards // 17 TDs
6. George Shaw (1955-1958) 391 yards // 5 TDs
7. Andrew Luck (2012) 255 // 5 TDs

a - I used Pro-Football-Reference for stats
http://www.pro-football-reference.com/
b - I omitted stats from Tom Matte. Pro-Football-Reference listed him as a QB in 1965 when he ran for 235 yards. He only attempted 7 passes that year and 42 career attempts, every other year of his career he is listed as either a RB or KR. I noticed this discrepancy when I came across his career rushing numbers, he had 1,200 rushes for 4,646 rushing yards in his career as a Colt.

In his week 10 game, Andrew didn't throw a TD pass, but instead ran for 2 giving him 5 for the season. Prior to that night the most TDs runs by a Colts QB in a single season was 4 done by Bert Jones and Peyton Manning. Furthermore, only 5 Colts QBs (16 occasions amongst them) have run for more yards in a season then the 159 yards Luck has in the first 9 games.

Mike Pagel 2X: 441 yards (1983), 160 (1985)

Also after 2005 he never rushed more then 23 times a season. |
