For this upcoming offseason, you get to choose one free agent for the Bears to sign for each position. Cause I'm super bored.

Be somewhat mindful of the cap, dont say the top player for every position.

Resign Campbell.
Peyton Hillis RB 'cause he is a Razorback
Ramsese Barden WR 'cause we need a Ramsese
Martellus Bennet TE 'cause he has a Latin first name that sounds like that of my grandfather, Martis.
Sebastian Vollmer OT 'cause he has a sinister sounding last name.
Spenser OG cause he can also play center.
Don Muhlbach C 'cause it would weaken the Lions.

Ryan Clady is getting franchise tagged so the Denver reunion stuff is a pipe dream.

Give me Sebastian Vollmer, a solid OT when healthy, and then I do the OL shuffle.

LT Vollmer
LG Rachal/2nd round pick
C Garza
RG Louis
RT Carimi/Webb

I like Vollmer but I'm not sure he could play LT for the simple fact that NE didn't feel he could...

If we are going after a new LT this offseason then Bushrod would be a solid pick up IMO.

He has never really had a chance to play LT as they had Matt Light and then drafted Solder.

The convinient part about Vollmer is the way things are shaping up we will need a RT too.

Yeah but that's my point...as soon as Light retired the Pats didn't feel they could try Vollmer at LT as his replacement...they went straight out in the 1st round and took Solder.

That is an assumption maybe Solder was the highest ranked player on their board and they could not pass.

We need to do something whether it is Vollmer or Bushrod, because OT is our Achilles heel and is what I think keeps us from a deep playoff run.
About the only thing that should keep us from a deep playoff run is bad QB play or poor coaching. We can work around our line.

Andre Smith is an interesting name as he could compete with Carimi at RT if he is struggling or be a VERY good LG and we let Rachal walk.

Versatile OLmen are what we need.

I like Beatty for Arizona. His ranked 5th for left tackles. His having a great season and we need a good left tackle.

I like Beatty for Arizona. His ranked 5th for left tackles. His having a great season and we need a good left tackle.

You never get to question me about my post history ever again, Tyty

He's got two years to catch you.

All I have to do is keep pace.

All he has to do is average .24 posts a day.

All I do is post constructively. Can't say the same for you! Razz

I post nearly 100 times more than you do per day.

And people love me. Do they love you?

I don't love people, so I don't expect nor want people to love me.

Seabears loves you.

I don't love anyone. It's a miracle I tolerate people.

Your post count tripled from this conversation.

Also, quit being emo, emo sally, or I'll have Grr ban you because he loves me.
