rudyZ, interesting I wasn't aware of Willis' cap hit going down from 17 million to 2-3 million. Alex Smith will not be a backup for that much money so he will definitely either get traded or released. We need to lock up J. Smith, Bowman, Goldson, and Crabtree. _________________

Bowman still has another year at a ridiculously low salary, so we may not be in a hurry to extend him in the offseason, perhaps more during next season. Justin and Crabtree would be important signing in regards to the salary cap, though. It's for 2014 that we'll have some very interesting decisions to make, with Whitner and Manningham being free agents. And of course, there's no guarantee we'll even be able to re-sign Crabtree. _________________

Chris Culliver also needs to be added to the list of someone who needs to be locked up after next season. _________________

Yeah, he was a 3rd round pick and they usually sign 3 year deals. Lets play a trick on him and sign him RIGHT NOW! _________________

There had been a tendency recently of signing 3rd rounders to 4 year deals... I guess the new CBA changed that. _________________

But is there a way we can get him extended . Culliver is a young guy that probably wants to get paid, he doesn't know any better, right? _________________

Pay the man! Even if it's heavy on incentives. Dashon's a straight up baller (with the occasional bone headed play).
I reckon we have the potential to get Crabby at good value as well. I think most teams know he's better than what his stats show, but it doesn't mean they'd be willing to offer him huge money on the hope that they might be right. |

I figured out why I love Goldson this last game. Usually when a team passes on us and completes it I get upset, obviously. Well, you know what makes up for it? The guy who catches the ball getting blown to pieces BY THE HAWK!
Or
QB heaves one down field, wait... PICKED OFF BY TEH HAWK!

Bowman just got signed, I kinda doubt we do anymore extensions anytime soon, but who knows. But what I do know, is that this man needs to get PAYED (Da$$$hon that is) _________________
