Not good news for sure but EDS and Lang seemed to do a decent job against the Cards and that defense has been pretty good against the pass. We will have to hope Sherrod can be a back up or one of our 2 linemen we have on the PS can if Sherrod ends up on IR. _________________

i have faith in EDS at any of the inside spots... i also think lang will be fine @ RT... but i like lang @ LG with BB @ RT much more
its a tough loss, but a loss the packers can get past temporarily...
now if we lose anyone else on the line, then i think the panic button gets closer to hit |

So instead of all the chicken little based of the announcers comments "That looked like Bo Jackson" = "oh no must be career threatening", this seems to sound like the second opinion is to find out if his season has to be over or not, not his career. I said something about not jumping to worst case conclusions based on no real info and 2 knuckleheads broadcast comments (Buck/Aikman? Really?) and people were still going all worst case scenario, omg we need another 1st round OL next year now! Bulaga is probably done forever!
And now this article even makes it sound like a doomsday scenario but missing even the rest of the season doesn't bother me, that's football, it happens. The only truly irreplaceable player is Aaron Rodgers. MAYBE Clay Matthews comes close because the Packers have no other blue chip pass rushers, but I'm not convinced that couldn't be schemed around somewhat. Past that, next man up, injuries will happen, some players will be lost for the season and you have to be prepared and able to rise above that. As long as they aren't career threatening injuries, the ball keeps rolling. _________________

Umm, if people were worried about Bulaga's career being over because of what an announcer said, that would be tragic. I was worried because I saw him fall in a heap and the reality is, if his femur pops from the hip socket, his career is likely over. It had nothing to do with Bo Jackson or anything else. That is the worst case scenario, it is not a chicken little or doomsday talk.
Let's hope missing the rest of this year is truly the new worst case scenario, and don't pat yourself on the back too hard for thinking you were better for being patient with your conclusions. Pretty much everyone else here was being just as patient, and praying and hoping Bulaga did not get the career death sentence. At the same time, they also rightly observed what could be and how to move forward IF that was the case. That is a completely reasonable thought process for fans. |

If that's the case...I don't think it has been reported or official yet...? Couldn't find that link anywhere. Maybe it was a hypothetical? _________________

Maybe it was a hypothetical? | I think everybody else is thinking what some people thought might be true, in fact is. But remember they are just thoughts people think because its an option or a possibility and not actually what TT or MM thinks. Think your own thoughts and post em here for others to think about your thoughts, so they can think about their thoughts and your thoughts and put them together and create a completly new thougth. Get it? |

| We're not going to hear anything official until McCarthy talks to the press next week. So let's not overreact based on speculation. |

I was mistaken about Datko. I guess he's still on the PS. Maybe they are waiting to see how Bulaga is progressing next Monday? _________________

They probably have a good idea about Bulaga's progress and availability for next week.
They are just under no obligation to tell anybody about it until McCarthy is obligated to provide an injury report. |

Is there a legit shot at Sherrod comes back this year? I thought I read something about his progress not being where it needs to be and that he's looking at another year of IR _________________

Hasn't been much on this yet. I could see it going either way to be honest. We'll find out soon enough though, he had 3 weeks from when he started practicing to be placed on the active roster or IR. _________________
