well if that theory was true, most teams in the league shouldnt be paying its players since they arent producing superbowls. In the last ten years, how many different teams have won superbowls? 4 or 5? |

If you look at the last 35-40 years, there has been a very clear progression as to who the best RB in the league was:
Walter Payton: 1976 - 1986
Barry Sanders: 1989 - 1998
LaDanian Tomlinson: 2001 - 2009
Adrian Peterson: 2007 - ?
There are a couple other guys in there like Emmit Smith, Eric Dickerson, Marshall Faulk, Curtis Martin, etc. but I don't really think they compare to the above 4. _________________
