"I'm Matt Schaub, and I approve this message."
This week, the Houston Texans travel to Chi-Town to take on Da Bears.
This isn't your average game. This is Sunday night. This is prime-time television. The last time we were on this stage, we fell. But not this time. This time, we're back. Let's kick it out to Faith Hill
Alright, Sunday night, where are you?
Waitin' for the team that bleeds red, white and blue
You want some football?
We want it, too
Who's that girl above? Ooh, she hot.
Hey, Jack, it's a fact, the show's back in town
Stadium's rockin', time to crank up the sound
The NFL's best have come to play
Coast to coast, there's just one thing left to sayayayayayayayay
Whatchu gon' say, Faith?
I've been waiting all day for Sunday night
The tough get rough in a prime-time fight
The last one standing gets to turn out the lights
Cause I've been waiting all day for Sunday night
J.J. Watt's going to kill me, isn't he?
Sunday Night Football on NBC
The Houston Texans are the best on TV
Players are ready, kick that ball off the tee
Cause the NFL rocks on NBC
Yeah.
KEYS TO THE GAME:
1. Get the offense going early.
The last time we played on Sunday night, the offense sputtered early, allowing Green Bay to take advantage.
2. Avoid mental errors
A "no duh."
3. Be careful with the ball
As we saw with our rivals, the Bears defense strikes quick. We have to be quicker -- and safer.
ADVANTAGES:
QB: Texans
HB: Push
WR: Push
TE: Texans
OL: Texans
DL: Texans
LB: Bears
Sec.: Bears
ST: Bears
So, if these Bears think they're going to win...
Think again.
Now,

If the Bears have a +2 turnover margin they will win the game, if not the Texans will win. |

This is an awesome point in the season. Getting to go up to Chicago to play vs. one of the best teams in the NFC and the entire NFL in primetime is going to do a lot for our team. We are already established as one of the best teams in the league, but now people get to see us play a team that is better than the Jets, who are seriously bad. 7-1 vs 7-1 is all you can ask for in the NFL. A couple of really great teams. The Bears are just ridiculous on defense and special teams. Just ridiculous. _________________

I am so pumped for this game.
Can't wait to see how our offense match up with their defense and how their offense match up with our defense.
Joseph has a tough challenge ahead with Brandon Marshall so hopefully our D generates a pass rush because we all saw how Cutler ate up the Titans defense without a pass rush last week.
JJ Watt might not have the huge lead in the DPOY race anymore. Charles Tillman has had an excellent year with the Bears. 7 FF (4 last week vs the Titans) already in the season is ridiculous.
This is going to be a tough game on the road, but it will be entertaining smash mouth football. _________________

Great thread!
This is a BIG TEST for us. It will be a great challenge across the board. Hopefully we come prepared this time in prime time.
I have many Bear friends (obviously lol) and will be watching the game with a VERY close couple with my wife on Sunday, we better beat them. |

OP-JJ Watt is amazing no doubt about it, but there is no justification on this planet for giving an edge to the Texans DL over the Bears DL rotation, it's a relentless assault on the QB that is a big part of the league leading 62.7 QBR allowed. _________________

We busted out a new formation that ive been wanting for a couple years, the fullhouse set and Arian got like 10-15 yards on it. I really hope we utilize that when Tate comes back, cause I think it could be a weapon for us with Arian, Tate and Casey all back there. _________________

JJ Watt and Antonio Smith have been great this entire year | Congratulations, Julius Peppers, Henry Melton, Stephen Paea, Izzy Idonije, Corey Wooton, Shea McClellin, Amobi Okoye, Nate Collins, have been great all year long too. Hence why they lead the NFL in sacks and QBPs /game. _________________
