Maybe the idea is worth entertaining | Younger, cheaper, pretty sure he drops fewer passes, and he has experience with McDaniels.
I think he's a downgrade in terms of YAC and definitely more prone to injury than Welker, but I think he'd be a fine addition. I just wonder if he'd be okay with being a #3 and if he'd come cheap enough to be a #3. If not, then the #3 receiver better be good enough to start 4 games a year or so. _________________ Shut up, NBT |

I doubt he'd be a #3 (and I suspect he will get paid better than a #3). I don't think the Pats would bring him in and then reduce the "Welker role" in the offense by adding another wide receiver to play opposite Lloyd.
His injuries are worrisome but so are Welker's concussions.
Really, the issue comes down to hands and Welker's issues with drops over the last few years. I'm not sure I want the Pats to hand a big chunk of money to a guy who has dropped an annoying number of fairly routine catches lately |

| It is starting to feel like the refs really don't want the Rams to win this game. |

The NFL Network should totally have McNabb do the highlights from Rams-49ers _________________

It just comes off the bet entirely as a push. Cuts my winnings down, if in fact the Texans win this game, but doesn't kill the bet. |

The Bears always have the best National Anthem renditions. _________________

| Also, that was the most brutal game to have money on I've ever watched. The late comeback by the 49ers, the Rams taking the lead, the 49ers coming back to force overtime with a field goal, the deep pass play to Amendola that was called back two minutes after the play happened, the missed Akers' field goal, the Legatron make, delay of game and then miss... just brutal. |

The Jets are sooo bad.
Tried to warn them, but nope, that's just me hating. Obviously a 10-6 team with Sanchize and a one man passrush in Coples. _________________

From Peter King's twitter:
| Quote: | | Amendola just told me he thought there was going to be a second overtime. Didn't know it was over till he heard from an official. |

I really don't know why anyone thought they'd be better than 8-8 - in an absolute best case scenario with Revis and Holmes healthy.
That said, they almost beat (and should have beaten) the Pats so...... |

One man pass rush? Coples has two sacks. More like a zero man pass rush. |
