Even more than the pass defense, I think my biggest worry today was how bad the outside run defense was. And this reinforced that I'd rather have Chung on the field than Gregory. _________________ Shut up, NBT |

Mcc is right. Gregory is awful.

One bad game and you want to throw him out? Who would you rather have, Arrington? |
One bad game? He's an under sized corner who really hasn't played all that well and has had balls gift wrapped to him for picks. Never been a huge fan of his and this game is likely of things more to come than just a one game struggle.
I also would rather have Arrington like he played today than the one that was having an extremely rough patch. Sometimes you gotta stick with your guys and hope it works out. Talib will crack this lineup in no time. _________________

Why? Vereen's done a nice job when called upon. |
When it comes down to get it done situations I know Woodhead is going to likely get it done. Today he was frying it up and we kept going to the draw with Vereen. One negative play on a drive with tons of positive ones make a huge difference in whether were ending up with 7 or 3.
I just prefer Woodhead especially with the way he has been playing. Ridley, Bolden, Woodhead, Vereen in that order. Woody on passing/running situations with 3rd down responsibilities.
I also missed posting in these GDTs. Hopefully more to come. _________________

At some point you can't keep blaming the DBs. When all your DBs are playing bad no matter who's back there, you gotta point the finger at the coaches. _________________

There's been a lot of that this year. Especially towards Boyer/Patricia |

| Another game, another clutch turnover to seal the victory. |

McCourty > Chung > Wilson >>>>>> Gregory
McCourty is a much better corner than he is a safety, but he's still the best safety this team has.
That is so sad... _________________

Spikes didn't exactly endear himself.
And aside from a PD and a FF, he had a miserable game, just like all the Pats' LBs. _________________

So now that its over... who actually "showed up" today? The defense as a unit was terrible. Brady was bad. Welker dropped two balls. Ridley? _________________

Brady wasn't bad. Woodhead and Ridley were fine.
The entire defense was awful with only Wilfork, Cunningham and Arrington being acceptable. |
