You know how sometimes you get really strong feelings about how a game is going to play out? I can't shake the feeling that we're going to lose today. Of course I really hope I'm wrong, but still... _________________

I'd be surprised if we don't win by 14+
Bye week
Historically owned the Bills
Their horrible rush defense
Our great rush defense
I don't think we're going to shut down their rushing game, but I think we'll do enough that forces them to have to throw on some 3rd and longs and get some punts. On the flip side, they are super aggressive in their one gapping and once BB/McDaniels figured it out, the Bills couldn't stop our running game. If Brady has a running game good for 140+ yards, it's hard to stop him. _________________

Its been two weeks and our defense is trash. Don't blame you for feeling this way but once Tommy starts throwing and if he gets time were going to light it up. _________________

He's a blocking tight end who had shown he could make plays in the passing game. In an offense with bradshaw, nicks, Cruz, and manningham, he naturally didnt get a ton of targets. He's a big strong blocker and has pretty good hands.
I'd pin him as a better graham. | Please tell me you're joking. |
No I'm not. Did you watch the Giants last year? I mean not that it was anything out of the ordinary, but even in the Giants/Patriots regular season game last year he roasted Mayo. He's a pretty good blocker who is a good pass catcher. We're not talking about a top 5 TE, but he's also not a scrub like what was being implied. There was a reason the Giants organization was from top to bottom upset he got stolen.

Drug references aren't really allowed.
But i hope he meant Daniel Graham. |
I would think that posting on a Patriots forum, talking about blocking TEs, that'd be obvious. Jimmy Graham is a mediocre blocking TE. |
Daniel Graham, in his prime, was the 2nd best blocking TE in the NFL (behind Jason Dunn). Ballard isn't on that level.
A healthy Ballard I would put somewhere in the 20-30 range of TE's in the NFL. Now, he's still a young guy so he could obviously continue to improve but the chances of that are probably offset by the fact that he's coming off a devastating injury which has derailed and ended many careers. |

Maybe I'm just overrating him, but from what I saw, he looks to be a very good player once he gets back on track. By all accounts, a super professional and very hard worker. He's not as good a blocker as Graham was, I didn't mean to imply that, but he's a much better receiving option, despite the limited sample size. From what I saw, he was a decent route runner with obviously a lot of size and good hands. _________________

Good to see Hightower.
McCourty still at safety.
Dennard gets the start. _________________

Lots of good stuff on that "drive." Fitz didn't find anybody deep, and the Pats are getting some pressure early, leading to a scramble and a hold. _________________ Shut up, NBT |

Chandler gets a Holding call, we force 3 penalties and don't give up a long bomb.
I'm impressed. _________________

Man watching Ridley play after BJGE last year is a revelation.
It's like he just slices through the defense like a knife.
With BJGE it was equivalent of a hammer through molasses. _________________
