Maybe this year we could try that trading down thing but actually still have a first this year and one next.

At this point, with no overwhelming franchise QBs atop the draft (like a Luck or Griffin), I am not against a trade back to recoup more picks. Our team has multiple areas that need attention.

The team needs 'quality depth' instead of drafting half our class on the 3rd day which seems to be a hallmark of the Roseman reign.

You mean ever since we traded one away for Jason Peters? |
One time in 14 years isn't bad. Especially getting a franchise LT. I don't consider trading back, trading away a first. The reason I brought it up is because of how bad it would have been this year if we traded the pick away, considering they thought this team was a contender. Management has done a good job with trading and acquiring picks. The selection process on the other hand, has left a lot to be desired. |

I would love to pick up a 1st next year similar to what StL did this year. Of course the 2nd overall pick this year won't be as valuable as last years. |

probably not but I can see us getting some extra 2nds or thirds having arizona and st louis fight over luke

What they need to do now is put much hype into having a top tier pick that way somebody will want to trade up.

I think the lack of huge rookie contracts makes our high pick reasonable for any team that likes a player.

Who did we pick with the 2nd rounder we got too? Desean or Trevor Laws? I wanna say Desean but can't remember for sure.

Laws at #47, from MIN through CAR. DeSean at #49 was our own pick that year.
