I know people are/were talking about trading Maclin.

I bet if he was traded to Indianapolis he'd be a regular 80/1200 receiver.

If he was used correctly here those numbers are attainable. He was on pace for close to that last season despite the sickness but missed 3 games. I really thought when Cooper came back they would try Maclin more in the slot.

Lets hope so.

We know what his strengths are - it's amazing why these aren't maximised.

Remember how we were bringing up homegrown players as opposed to plucking them from other teams?

The last time the Eagles won a playoff game, 18 of 22 starters were homegrown. This week, they'll have 14.

Getting rid of the trash in the offseason will remove another 4 or so free agents.

He is Laveranues Cole 2.0

I am surprised the comparison hasn't been made before. If Maclin was more a legit #2 then a wanna #1 he would produce more in critical situations and the same goes for that child DeSean... Maclin will never be great but he can be really good and have a vital role with the offense. Jackson and have are kinda the same trick as it stands now.

According to cornerback Dominque Rodgers-Cromartie, there is a reputation building throughout the league about the Eagles ... and it isn’t flattering.

“Everybody looks at us as a pretty defense,” he said, “that don’t want to be physical.”

http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/eagles/20121108_Dont_blame_Eagles_Bowles__blame_hitless_wonders.html

Quote:
"It ain't got nothing to do with the coordinator. It's everything to do with the players," Eagles cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie said Thursday. "It's us. We're basically not making the plays to get the job done."

DRC said the word around the league is, "Y'all guys are talented, but y'all don't wanna hit nobody."

Rodgers-Cromartie says the defense Bowles inherited from Juan Castillo has to go out and show the "want to" to disprove that perception. "Until you fix it, it's always going to show itself," he said. "Everybody looks at us as a 'pretty' defense that doesn't want to be physical. We gotta go out and just make a name for ourselves."

I know we're all bashing Mudd, but with all the injuries we'll really see Mudd tested for the rest of the season.

I'd walk away if I were Mudd, the O-Line conspiracy of the Eagles is scary

Our defense is soft.

That's what happens when you go against a soft offense in practice for 4 months.

Reid from practice said,
"our goal is to give the fans something to cheer about."
