Doesn't sound like Curry is guaranteed activation, Bowles just said he will get his chance, didn't say when. Didn't sound like he meant this week either.

They talk so much about fundamentals, but the tackling on Monday night was atrocious

With the lackluster play of everyone, it should be given a chance

The Refs were out to get us. And that was the block when he went in motion and destroyed someone right?

I it was Mike Pereria that said during the game that it was an okay block.

Ike Reese thinks Andy's job has been made tougher because all his initial staff have gone to coach elsewhere.

Harbaugh, Childress, Shurmur, Frazier, Spagnuolo, Jim Johnson, Ron Rivera, etc. etc.

Bill Belichick's last Super Bowl was 2004, and he's had a mass exodus of coaches.

Reese overplaying or underplaying this?

I think it is a fairly big deal for Reid. Those are some great coaches.

I think it's a big deal too.

Which would be more reason to start over new. This is hardly what Andy had wanted when he got here. His time to win was when he had most of his guys, now that time has passed, perhaps he just doesn't have the internal structure and staff to get it done anymore.

Worth bringing up for sure...but Belichick unlike Reid has continued to make deep playoff runs including two Super Bowl appearances after 04....so it's not as big of an excuse...but it is surely a factor to his/the teams decline.

But yea a new regime would probably give a shot at a promotion for some quality skill coaches and to replenish that coaching depth. It really depends who would be the coach as to who we would get.

Yeah I think we need a new infrastructure. It does seem like a lot of Reid's guys might be available this offseason. I think Andy is gone but hypothetically speaking if he was to be retained, he could purge his current positional coaches for his older coaching partners who he had success with.

Pat Shurmur might get fired as Browns coach and you would think that Brad Childress would go with him.

Ron Rivera might get fired.

I hear Juan Castillo is available Laughing .

If Andy wanted to try to duplicate his old coaching backbone which I consider to be very strong, he could do it this upcoming offseason. Whether that is with the Eagles or some other team is an entirely different issue.

It is a big deal.

Reid has made bad choices on coaches the last few years since he hasn't got the connections he had as a young assistant coach. That's why he brought in highly known coaches like April, Bowles, Mudd and Washburn

I know people are/were talking about trading Maclin.

I bet if he was traded to Indianapolis he'd be a regular 80/1200 receiver.
