Should be a close game, it always seems to be with these two teams. The Vikings have really struggled against teams as of late who have been able to control the game on the ground. The Vikings defense plays just fine when they can shut down the run and force teams to become more reliant on the pass. That has been the theme recently.

Looking at the past three losses (Washington, TB, and Seatle) all three teams won not because they were able to throw the ball up and down the field, they won because they leaned heavily on the run and really controlled the game.

I think for Detroit to win, they must get the ground game going, especially in MN to take the crowd and pass rush out of the game.

I have the Vikings winning this one, I expect a bounce back game for them. Should be a good game regardless, best of luck this week!

Ponder seems to be regressing the last few weeks so I predict the Lions load up to try and stop (realistically limit) AD and force Ponder to throw. If Harvin doesn't play and the fact that the league seems to have caught on to Rudolph's skill set it will be a long day for the Vikings on O.
The Vikes have the ability on D to keep it close so

Lions 24
Vikings 20

Detroit shut Minny offense out first game pretty easy. They are regressing while Det moving in other direction.

No Harvin on offense Detroit already held to zero is not good for them any way it is spun.

Detroit run game is coming alive. Reiff played most snaps he has last week and role expanding.

Only reason Detroit lost last game was ST play. ST better now and Harvin hurt.

Det 31
Min 17

The Vikings are capable of playing better than they have been the past couple of weeks. If they lose this one they're pretty much out of playoff contention, so I expect them to be up for this game.

Het, what do you know buddy. You live in Ottawa Laughing

without Harvin playing i see a blow out in the lions favor.i think the Stafford of last yr comes out 350+ yards 4tds. i do see All-day ap. w/e you want to call him get 120+ total yards. Ponder has seem to regress recently. i see a 35-14 game with out harvin. With him playing i see it a lil closer 35-24.

Delmas and Spievey look likely to miss the game, Hopefully the Lions can control AP as best that is possible in trying to control him, and make Ponder beat them. Ponders been struggling of late and if Harvin dosent go, which is looking more and more likely, thats a good situation for Detroit.

Hopefully we can start fast and make them play from behind, which the Vikings in my opinion arnt built to do.
