Creating a similar look to their other sites (gmail, calendar, plus, drive) and also trying to create a continuity from their mobile app and the website.

You know what's the worst? The NFL.com site. SO much crap loads, tons of flash, and I'm running on 8GB of ram and the video is STILL choppy if I don't have my flashblock running. Just an absolutely horrendously designed website.

It's sooooooooo bad. Amazing that an institution as highly profitable as the NFL would have such a terrible website. They literally need to spend like $10 million to design an entirely new website, and it would be a very sound investment.
And I want to murder someone every time a video auto-plays.

Check out EWU/Illinois St. on ESPN3 today at 3 PT/6 ET. I know you guys just lovvvvvvvvve the red turf. I'll be up in the press box covering the game for the EWU student newspaper. If EWU wins, they'll play Sam Houston State next weekend at home, and if they win that game they'll be in Frisco, Tex., for the FCS national championship!

Related to bad websites: the Packers app was horrible! At least when I had it. Every time I wanted to look at it there was an update that needed to load. So if I wanted to see how many yards James Jones had, I could wait for the update or go to espn.

The updating was brutal, but the app was pretty awesome IMO.
EWU won tonight and they play Sam Houston State on the red turf next weekend. If they win, they'll be going to the national championship in Frisco, Texas, and there's a chance I'll be there covering the game!
