Starting Quinn sends the message that the coaching staff is trying to win games. _________________

There's been a plot complication.

That kick vs ATL was heart breaking. |
It started the snowball effect that is our season.
I've had enough of Suckop. Time and time again he misses critical field goals from under 40 yards. I'm ready for Kaeding. At least he misses until the playoffs. |

Dude has been in 17 games in 3 years. I don't want an injury prone kicker.
I also don't want to give up on a kicker that could still do better. How many ex-KC kickers are working and doing well in this league? Tynes, Barth, SD's newest kicker Novak, and even Medlock is back kicking.
And while yes Succop has missed some crucial kicks, as with any kicker, there are ups and downs, and the smart teams tend to stick with a guy for a while. Lets not forget how crucial he was in our one win this season. Also, more so then some other teams, Succop is relied upon pretty heavily for our scoring.
Succop is a career 82.1% kicker. That's factoring some long shots outside his range, that Haley had no business asking him to try. Kaeding is an 87% kicker, super, but he's also had a lot of injury issues. Other's to compare Succop to: Vinatieri - 82.5%, Tynes - 82.2%, Akers - 81.7%, Janikowski - 80.5%, and Prater 79.8%.
Succop is fine. _________________

I thot it was Hillis fumble? Anyways, Kicker is least of our problems...if our offense was better we wouldn't kick so many FG's and Succop has been clutch as well, so why mess with it? _________________

It wasn't JUST the FG. It was also that horrendous kick off that lead to a FG against us. That is a 6 point swing by himself.
But regardless I do agree with you for the most part. Kicker and special teams in general should be the least of our worries at this point. _________________

I bet Pioli was on the phone with a league official telling them to make sure that the refs don't let us win. _________________

Anybody able to get a better look than me at the Baldwin injury play...did he not catch it, hit his head, fall to the ground, and THEN let the ball go. Why wasn't it a catch? Nobody argued, so obviously I just missed something.
Also, anyone know how many passes Bowe dropped? _________________
