As good as it is bad

As I have been sitting back and just reading on this forum as well. A couple notes I've drawn together that haven't seen most people saying or anyone for that matter

Maybe this team was that bad and when JG took over. He has IMO been changing that with the past two drafts. This is why it is imperative to always draft well. The good teams that always stay up at the top level for the most part hit on their picks more than miss

The first yr JG cut a lot of old and non producing players then had a pretty good draft. 2nd yr again cut the older and non producing players and drafted well.

Every yr he has taken care of some of the issues with this team. U cannot fix what Jerry did to us in one year. It is a PROCESS as JG has stated many times...

Now while it is not happening as quickly as we all would like I do feel this team is getting better as a whole. Last couple years I have not been high on this teams expectations as the media has and some fellow posters.

This year was the first year I had some of them. Am I disappointed so far? YES. But the main question I ask myself- are we for the most part in every game and competing? YES!

Now I will say I was a year early in my prediction with the rangers saying they were going to be good. I'm hoping I'm on par and a year early with the boys. 15 yrs to late but I'm still a fan regardless. It pains me to watch but I guess I'm a gluten for punishment. But as a realistic fan I do believe with another good draft and cutting some of our non producing players again, that we can continue to get better as a team.
