Why are there so many Julio Jones/AJ Green comparisons with Cordarrelle Patterson? They play nothing alike.

It's purely the athletic ability in terms of the Julio Jones comparison, because like you said their games aren't really comparable...

Never seen the AJ Green one though...

Yeah the comparison with AJ Green is Justin Hunter.

Not really. Body type and athleticism...maybe. But Hunter was dropping passes left and right this year.

Don't worry. Sean Payton would pass the ball in a Tornado.

But would he do it in a Sharknado?

amen and I don't see Green at all when I look at Hunter. Hunter has great athletic ability but Green was very polished coming out of college. Hunter isn't close to the same type of prospect. Green was a guaranteed solid NFL receiver with big upside. Hunter has big upside but has massive question marks.

Cal WR Keenan Allen will not participate in this week's NFL Scouting Combine due to a lingering left knee injury. Allen suffered a Grade 2 PCL tear in late October and missed the final three games of his college career. His recovery is going on four months now, which is concerning. Allen experienced swelling in pre-Combine training, and will have a March 11 followup exam with Dr. James Andrews. He'll only run routes at Cal's Pro Day, but has tentatively scheduled a personal workout for the first week of April to run the forty-yard dash. Allen's forty time is crucial because NFL evaluators have questions about his long speed

Kind of concrerning that he's still having issues with the knee...

I think its just a precaution type deal. Knowing he can really only hurt his stock.

I'm not overly worried, just a little alarming that there is still swelling. Could be nothing, could be another issue...

I think he'll be fine though, and still go mid-late 1st round...

I don't think its just a precaution issue here. It mentions that he is going to see Dr. James Andrews, which means they are concerned there might be further damage or damage that needs cleared up surgically. To me, this is concerning. Perhaps concerning enough to bump another WR up. One thing we don't need, a high drafted WR getting cut on during season.

That sounds like a foul drink. Too many flavors (23 alone of the Dr.)
