I agree.
I respect the hell out of you Phire, but this just seems like we're grasping for stars on a cloudy night. We both know each other stances on this issue, so I won't continue it. |
I appreciate the comments, but I don't understand how this is me reaching.
This thread is probably 10% me and 90% headlines from the Philadelphia media which feature two articles, one from Bleeding Green Nation and the other Reuben Frank.
All the quotes are from the articles, not me.
The pictures and explanations are from the articles, not me.
Find me articles from respected sources who still doubt Graham, because you'd be hard pressed to find them, which was where I came into play. As well as generally asking what everyone's thoughts were on his future prospects.
But certainly, when people are writing articles about Graham's play being "ridiculous" and "absurd", doesn't that raise your brows a bit? _________________

I meant "we're" as an organazation and our media outlets, not you.

It doesn't really raise my brow at all; the media is looking for something to write about other then Vick, Juan/TB, or the offensive line. They're looking for a sparklin turd in a public bathroom after a concert.
I've said from the start Brandon Graham is a mediocre football player, who is playinwith a group of defensive lineman who are absolutely pathetic right now. He's going to be nothing more then a mediocre football player for the rest of his career.
I do not like him, and I openly admit it. I didn't like him from the time he was drafted, and I like him even less now. It's a point that's been made, and talked about, for two years. I'd like to not go back down the road of discussing it, and clutter this thread with the arguement that everyone has seen. _________________

I read this article yesterday too, and wanted to post it, but after I read it, it wasn't as impressive as I thought it would be.
Brandon Graham has been playing very good in the rotation and should be starting although I want to see this type of "dominance" when he gets the majority of the snaps, show this production isn't part of coming fresh with the few snaps he gets.
Before I praise him I want him being something other than a rotational player. He is in on his way though. _________________

Graham's looked decent, but ,if he's our starter next year, we're in for a long year. Since our entire defense is usually predicated upon our ability to pressue, we can't afford to have above-average starting DEs -- we need absolute studs in that position.
Although I expect that Graham will continue to develop his game, I think he's too physically-limited to ever ascend to "stud status". _________________

One of the very few promising aspects of our D-Line this season has been the play of Graham.
Keep the snaps comin'. _________________

Definitely will be keeping an eye on #54 this Sunday.
Let's see if he keeps up his performance, and how many snaps he gets in relation to Baboon. _________________

To be fair, Graham would be middle of the pack there. _________________

| I'm really happy to see him getting some credit. I was so excited when they drafted him and I've always hoped he'd step up and succeed. It's awesome to see him making a name for himself, especially after JPP has already done so. You can't help but root for a guy like Graham. |

I think there's only one player on this list[not including how I feel about Graham, don't want to get into that again] that is considred a bust. That would be Adam Carriker. It's also possible that Nick Fairely[mainly due to stupidity] could be headed down that path as well.
The rest them, excluding Floyd, were pretty good players for their respective teams[or in Wimbley's case] multiple teams. _________________

I wouldnt be shocked if that was one of the better lists of players taken at a spot in the past 10 years. _________________

Carriker is pretty good for Washington, or atleast prior to his injury. _________________
