Assuming the SF-NE results holds, we have to win out and hope that San Francisco either loses to Seattle or Arizona. _________________

Ugh. I feel dirty having to root for Seattle. I just hope that game is a war of attrition. _________________

A loss by the Giants and a win by the Redskins means the only way the Giants can get in is through the Wild Card. _________________

Basically it uses Waldo's theory that close games are random. 50% win/loss is what teams average out to. Basically that close games are games decided by luck. What I did was weighted wins. Wins 9+ points counts as 1.0, losses by 9+ is 0.0, close games (within are .5. Normal standings use just 1.0 and 0.0 for wins and losses. I used this number and used opponent's opponents to basically create a power ranking that I've been updating since week 5 (I think)
So far my record is 113-51-1, 65-20 in games that are decided by 8+ points
A couple things it projected were a Cardinals and Eagles collapse after they were 4-0, 3-1 IIRC. Got a lot of heat for saying GB and Seattle weren't bad teams. Same with NE.
