I guess I have to follow this rule.

Personally, I believe Rex Ryan shouldn't be fired after potentially losing season for first time. Both coordinators need to be addressed or upgraded. Mike Tannenbaum should step up in the power of hiring coordinators to save his job. However, cutting down media circus is Jets' number one priority so I cleared out GM, HC and both coordinators.

Quote:
Head Coaching Candidates-

1st Round Pool:

---Fresh Face---

Mike McCoy, Broncos' OC
Ray Horton, Cardinals' DC,
Dirk Koetter, Falcons' OC,
Tom Clements, Packers' OC,
Vic Fangio, 49ers' DC,
Ken Norton, Seahawks' LBC,
Gus Bradley, Seahawks' DC,
Chip Kelly, Oregon's HC,
Kyle Shanahan, Redskins' OC,
Brad Seely, 49ers' STC,
Dave Toub, Bears' STC,

Brian Kelly, Norte Dame's HC,

Bo Pelini, Cornhuskers' HC,

Will Muschamp, Florida's HC,

---At Least Second Chance---

Wade Phillips, Texans' DC,
Perry Fewell, Giants' DC,
Cam Cameron, Ravens' OC,
Mike Nolan, Falcons' DC,
Marty Mornhinweg, Eagles' OC,
Eric Mangini, TV worker,

Jon Gruden, TV worker,

Bill Cowher, TV worker,

2nd Round Pool:

Mike McCoy.
Ray Horton.
Dirk Koetter.
Tom Clements.
Vic Fangio.
Ken Norton.
Perry Fewell.
Jon Gruden.
Chip Kelly.
Eric Mangini.
Kyle Shanahan.
Brad Seely.
Bill Cowher

3rd Round Pool:

Mike McCoy.
Ray Horton.
Vic Fangio.
Jon Gruden.
Brad Seely.
Chip Kelly.
Bill Cowher.

Finalist: (Narrow down to cheapest contract possible)

Mike McCoy
Ray Horton
Brad Seely

General Manager - Omar Khan.

- He is responsible for cleaning up Steelers' messed salary cap without losing good players last year. He has involved in stocking up talents for position depth. He should be considered as a salary guru, not Mike Tannebaum.

Head Coach - Ray Horton.

He is "show me job and it is yours for now" coach. He has balls to diminish One of NFL's best SS, Adrian Wilson, for better defense scheme. He owns 2 Super Bowl rings as a Steelers' coach. Horton being appointed as Jets' new head coach may be linked with Steelers, the team that new general manager has worked for.

Offensive Coordinator - Norv Turner.

He is done as head coach for good. He loves to use TE so Keller won't have to play as an emergency WR for Sanchez. Turner made Mike Nolan look good as 49ers' head coach by helping Alex Smith, a 1st round bust, play like above average quarterback in the league. For Jets, it should be no matter who is under center when the offense moves the chain and scores well.

Defensive Coordinator - Ken Norton Jr.

He has been working under Pete Carroll for many years in college and pro. Now, it is time for him to handle bigger job. Horton and Norton can work out the difference between 3-4 and 4-3 for multiple formations. That means the defense has to be aggressive and athletic enough to change scheme every snap.

Notable Cut-

1. OT Jason Smith.

2. LB Calvin Pace.

3. LB Bart Scott.

Trade Away-

1. Santoino Holmes to Houston Texans for 6th Round Pick.

2. Tim Tebow to Kansas City Chiefs for 5th Round Pick.

Free Agent-

1. TE Dustin Keller, Jets.

-he still runs like WR and deserves to have better part in pass offense.

2. QB Brady Quinn, Chiefs.

-Since everyone knows that Jets wont afford to land Joe Flacco as a free agent, Quinn offers good arm strength and touch on football to challenge Mark Sanchez for OC Turner.

3. G Tyronne Green, Chargers.
4. G Rex Hadnot, Chargers.

-Probably won't brilliant moves but Slauson and Moore both are free agents. With new coaching staffs and system, Jets opt to get OL that knows Turner well. Green is better at run blocking and Hadnot is the opposite. It is a temporary fix as the 2013 draft class lacks depth at Guard.

5. LB Dannell Ellerbe, Ravens.

-Coverage LB just touches a physical game this year. He could take over David Harris' role and Harris over Scott on the field.

6. OLB Victor Butler, Cowboys.

-I get feeling Butler is a better fit in LeBeau's defense than either Ryan's.

7. LB Ashlee Palmer, Lions.

-He is more of a student, not player. He is a natural for pass coverage. He can be a good use for any LB in 4-3 defense.

8. SS Yeremiah Bell, Jets.

- I pick Bell over Landry for SS job because he plays smarter.

9. FS Corey Lynch, Chargers.

-He was my favorite safety out of college. He is solid in pass coverage but is not that physical.

Draft-

1. OLB Scott Crichton, Oregon State.

-Maybe it won't happen but that is how I value 2012 college prospects right now. Crichton is everything plus relentless motor. You are going to love this kid.

2. RB Mike Gillislee, Florida.

-Jets need a good RB to count on. Right now, he has excellent long speed but he will bulk up to absorb hits so his long speed will diminish subsequently. The best definitions of him are patience, field vision and accerlation.

3. OLB DeVonte Holloman, South Carolina.

- He plays the hover role that FF's Jets fans favorite player played last year. He is way bigger and faster than Antonio Allen. He has yet to lose speed during bulking up to his frame. He is superior to Allen in pass coverage.

4. SS Shawn Williams, Georgia.

-His coverage skill is getting better but he wants a physical game. Big red flag on him is that he is prone to being an unhappy camper.

5. WR Chris Harper, Kansas State.

-I don't know whether or not he can go deeper but his quarterback has a noodle arm. He offers better hands and body altheticism. His speed should be in 4.4 range.

5. RB Rex Burkhead, Nebraska.

- A power runner to improve a short yard and goalline situtions. Jets need to bolster the run game big time.

6. QB Sean Renfree, Duke.

-He knows many presnap motions and schemes in pro style. He has good arm strength but often throws a lob as WR flees deeper. His toughness will be never questionable.

6. CB Will Davis, Utah State.

-He is one of best pass defensive players in NCAA right now. And he just scratches on talent.

7. OL Manase Foketi, West Texas.

- He transferred to lesser level team because Kansas State did not allow him to go to another FBS school despite he graduated from there. His status will be a mid rounder if his knee and leg check out good and his ability of playing LT. Right now, he is a steal for 7th round as he could play anywhere except C.

Offense:

QB- Sanchez, Quinn, Renfree.
RB- Gillislee, Powell, Burkhead, Grimes.
FB- Baker, Bellore.
TE- Keller, Cumberland, Reuland.
WR- Hill, Harper, Kerley, Gates, Schilens
OT- Ferguson, Foketi.
LG- Hadnot, DuCasse.
OC- Mangold.
RG- Green, Schlauderaff.
RT- Howard.

Defense:

---3-4---

LE- Coples, DeVito.
NT- Pouha, Ellis, Harrison.
RE- Wilkerson.
OLB- Holloman, Butler.
ILB- Harris, Davis.
ILB- Ellerbe, Palmer.
OLB- Crichton, McIntyre

---4-3 base---

LE- Coples.
NT- Pouha, Harrison.
UT- Wilkerson, Ellis.
RE- Crichton, McIntyre.
OLB- Holloman, Palmer.
MLB- Ellerbe.
OLB- Davis, Palmer.

---4 rushers---

LE- Coples.
DT- Ellis.
DT- Wilkerson.
RE- Crichton.

---Secondary---

CB- Revis, Lankster, Fletcher.
SS- Bell, Williams.
FS- Lynch, Bush.
CB- Cromartie, Davis, Wilson, Adams.

Really like alot of this but a few things you will need to look at:

First is Stephen Hill is nowhere to be seen, he hasnt been cut or on the depth chart.
Second is the fact youve resigned Eric Smith for gods sake cut him.
Thirdly you have Sanchez being cut but thats a whole lot of $$$$$$
Overall though i really like this

Eric Smith is not a free agent. Keep him until finding a new replacement I guess.

Ricky the wise supported the mock without Hill on the roster. I love it.

No probs. Yeah i seen that the other week but i think we found out that it wasnt correct. Unfortunately we cant just cut him, after 2013 we can but unless he is traded we are stuck with that contract!!

Guys... you need to learn how to quote properly. No need to quote the entire mock for just outside discussion.

I know I seen at least 3 of them. I like the idea to be honest.

Its amazing how we had such huge expectations for him Sanchez and Maybin and none of them had come even close to that.
